  1. Found him on FlickR! Holy Moly! Think he is the Houdini of all modellers. I`m speachless! His works are so realistic. That`s art....must study his works, but first I will explore your fantastic and romantic works. I like it a lot! Thanks for sharing his name. Dirk
  2. No, surely no! I was travelling through most of your FlickR Albums and all the impressions honestly affects me. Your talent is breathtaking.
  3. This Heller kit is a fine detailed model with only minor disadvantages. Most of the parts are very crisp with plenty range of additional detailing. Most notably are several sinkholes and a wrong seat mount for the french version. The plastic is somewhat soft and needs a carefully handling if sanding is necessary. Both fronttyres with minor deformations. Used colours are of a broad range of different brands and mixed with other colours to achieve the worn effect. ( So it is nearly impossible to give you a useable reference of colour-numbers) : Tamiya Red, White, Darkbrown Gunze Grey, White, Bluegrey Windsor Oils Black, White, Grey, Ochre, Burnt Umber Pigments Pigeon Grey, Ochre, Black, dif. Rust pigments Buffing powder (C1 Metalizer) Detail painting with several Valejo paints Chipping mostly with Valejo Black Grey and small sponge parts Accessories: Hoodpins (Scale Production) Screw Heads (Aber) Toggle Switch (Top Studio) Pipe Clamps (Top Studio) Tools (Hasegawa Garage Kit) Padlock (Hauler) Extra details: Toolbox scratchbuild Headlights drilled out Battery mount scratchbuild 5 ft. finger bar mower scratchbuilt Seat mount scratch built Hood was milled out to scale thicknes As many other forum members declared, I wish more Utility vehicles in 1:24 too. 😁
  4. I agree in all terms. Clean built and a fine paintjob. Thank you for sharing this wonderful pictures.
  5. Outstanding pictures of a wondrful model. Clean built, superb paintjob and a stunning photographic skill. The model is on my wishlist and your model did a lot to boost me. Thx for sharing.
  6. She is really well weathered, you did a good choice of colours. The faded look is stunning. Far better than any laboratory mixed nutcounter federal standard paint from the darkside of the moon. 🙄 The pictures are amazing and sharp, Good depth of sharpness. Entire appearance of that model is perfect for me and she looks like a MiG-21 UM. 😀 Only one minor disadvantage: "Why a cliffhanger?" (I was looking for more pictures) 😄 Well done, and in hope to see more from you.
  7. Many thanks to all for the comments. I wish you all a nice and chilling rest of that weekend. Dirk
  8. Sry, no there isn`t any built thread for that..
  9. Many thx for your comment. I`ve used a small amount of grey pigments simply irregular applied with a fine brush. Works well on matt and dark surfaces.
  10. Hi Will, your Moth is simply perfect. Perfect in built and painting this lil`gem. The paintsheme is very attractive and let the small model looks like nobly. The arrangement of the the scenery is wonderful and the outdoor pictures are very atmospheric. Great job and absolutely motivating Dirk
  11. Great to see such a nice built X-15 in scale 48. Have this kit in my stash and it`s, nevertheless it is a short run, one of my topics. Thx for sharing Dirk
  12. Hi Russ, the paintsheme is really nice and attractive! Very clean built and perfect weathering. I like it a lot. The revetment section behind your model reminds me to a product of Marc Toillie in France. I`ve used these products made out of ceramics with my Cessna O-19 Birddog in scale 48. ( he produced also the typical US steel plankings for the floor) Unfortunately, these products are not available any more. What brand did you used? It is very nice to see finished models of the Viet-conflict. Makes me a lil bit sentimental, above all one considers that Verlinden has closed the doors forever. And therefore also many useful Vietnam Dio accessories are not available any more. And as a last question, what kits do you recommend in scale 48 to built an AD-4W? What can you say about the old Esci kit? Many thx in advance and thx for sharing Dirk
  13. Martin, that is unbelieveable, will say breathtaking. Paint brushed?? Chapeau, that`s truly a superb job. Think it needs a lot of patience for all those multible layers of colour. Thx for sharing Dirk
