  1. Finished kit and diorama are absolutely superb! Definitely need one of those beasts. Have you considered building the Caspian Sea Monster - another sea skimming beast from the east!
  2. Smudge cheers for the comments - probably looks better in the photos - I would give it 7.5 out of 10!
  3. Ok I can get cracking! The kit looks surprisingly 'crisp' for a 40 plus year old release. Fairly recent acquisition - wanted the 1/48 scale really. Thanks for the walk round link - will see if I can improve the kit in any way.
  4. Looking very good in those colours - the C19 definately my favourite mark. Bought the Special Hobby kit last week at Perth -early version though.
  5. Looks the business even in this small scale - very tidy!
  6. Convair update - decalled and coated with Klear today & will be finished for Sunday but not ready for the Scottish Nationals in Perth tomorrow. Some weathering and undercarriage to complete it.
  7. Yes very nice finished model. Likewise the viscount a favourite of mine from my days at EMA. Northeast is great scheme if you need ideas! Agreed Two Six decals are very crisp. John
  8. Very nice 134 - cheating with the wheels up!! I could be finished the Coronado tonight if I retract the wheels!
  9. Great finished model, enhanced by the diorama - what kit is it. I just finished the Hobbycraft 1/48 Otter floatplane and am working on the diorama - will post once finished.
  10. That's very nice - camo looks right to my eyes! You can't see the cockpit in the photos - so definitely no criticisms! I just bought the Revell Phantom to build a 43 Sqn machine - likewise cockpits are new for me, having previously built mostly 144 airliners! John
  11. Nice build Vitor. I built the kit recently and found it ok for it's age - nice panel lines - and I thought it looked right. Decals were unuseable agreed. Didn't like the real life scheme - the dreadful green undersides - so I like your take on it, grey/dark grey. The Hobbyboss 1/48 version awaits my attention next!
