And this is Me 262B-1aU1 -
In the construction of the model I used cast parts from the Czech "CMK" and etched items from «Extratech». The nose of the engines completely made from resin part, between the weapons bay and the cockpit added cargo lead shot. A lot of rework has been done in the wheel bays - etched details, stranded wire 0.1 mm and a few small parts from plastic. The antenna cable is traditionally made from a nylon thread. All antennas made from the etched parts. Added hydro supplies to the chassis. All the landing gear extended in accordance with the drawings, especially the front. Navigation lights are made from a gel cyanoacrylate adhesive. The pitot tube made from copper tube and a piece of 0.2 mm drill. These bits are applied as a weapon holder compartment lids. RLM81/82/76/74/22/02/66 paint pigments - Tamiya. Metallic - Master Model and Alclad. Washing - MIG. Varnishes - Futura and Tikurilla.

1/72 Lockheed P-38J "Lightning" from Academy +Eduard
Fuad replied to Fuad's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I use Iwata 0,35 mm and Harder&Steenback 0,15 mm. -
Your other Fw-190's are all gorgeous and so I wondered why this guy looks different. Well, "Alclad" experiment is failed((. I always use "Pledge Futura" for gloss surface and for reсovering cockpit glass and used "Tikurilla" semi matt varnish - and I always happy with the result)). Highly recomended.

Cute "brother" of my model of Fw-190A4 . I would add the washing. And more intense the soot from the engines. But every man has his own taste .

For load weight I use lead shot as usually in nose. How possible to thrust - so many treasures. Sometimes I put the shot even in engines. -

As promised - I redid the wheel. But the onboard code, alas, no. -

There's not a number "0", but the letter "Q". And the code on decal is "QH5." At least as indicated on the decals scheme. Although, you are right that the designation should come as a P-38J 42-67449 H5-Q. Myself believe that this model is made only "based on". Because, as I pointed out earlier, I was going to do the other board but the decals were corrupted. -
Thank you very much for comments.

Thank you for your comment! This is sad mistake! Today I immediately change it! -
I suspect that the Dutch have always smoked something very strong.

1/72 Junkers Ju-88A5 from Zvezda + Eduard&Aires
Fuad replied to Fuad's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
No, it is not aftermarket canopy. Zvezda made three variants of Ju-88 - A4, Ju-88G6 and another (my) kit A5-A17. In my complect I had two canopies: for A-5 and for A-17 version. http://titoys.com.ua/index.php?cPath=199_201 -
1/72 Junkers Ju-290A-5 from Revell+Extratech
Fuad replied to Fuad's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
There are no any magic. Only just thin brush #000 and very liquid black paint. -
There was build just 11 marine reconnaissance planes of Ju.290a-5 (# # 0170-0180). This instance, the model of which I try to build, had a serial number 290110172. If we believe to “Revell”, this board had to take part in the operation "Eisenhammer", which included the bombing of the 12 largest power generation centers on the USSR. Due to lack of bombers and fuel, as well as other technical issues "Operation "Eisenhammer" has been postponed several times. In February 1945, the operation was still prepared - was allocated 200 reconnaissance planes and about 100 "Mistel" who were based near Berlin and waiting for favorable weather. However, after a raid by U.S. aircraft were destroyed on the ground 18 "Mistel" plan has been postponed again, and the war had already ended. However, in his book «Vom Original zum Modell Junkers Ju-290-390" Karl-Heinz Regnata indicated that the board with serial number 290 110 172 first flew in November 1943, had the original board code KR + LC, the military code 9V + BH and WAS LOST!!! in August 1944. This model from Revell is a pretty nice set with good detail. However, the assembly was used set of etched parts from Extratech, which, in my opinion, very well all the basic set. Scheme RLM74/75/65/83. Paints - Tamiya. Varnishes - Futura and Tikurilla. REFERENCES: 1. Monogram Close-Up 03_Junkers 290 2. Schiffer Military History - Junkers Ju 290, Ju 390 etc. 3.
