Can you loose the red crowbar on the entry door. It should be cockpit green. ;)

Red is health and safety required today.👍

And this red crowbar 😀. I like it!

Gentlemen, I was well aware of the color of this crowbar and the painting scheme also says to leave it green. This is purely my prank🙂, if I can put it that way - it's my personal tuning😘 . Forgive me if you can.

On the shark mouth, does the decal wrap around the air filter intake?  From the angle of the picture, it looks like it completely covers the opening.

In fact, there should not be a protective grille, but a gaping hole. But when applying the decals, it so happened that the shark lost part of the teeth on the lower jaw)). To save the shark's teeth, I had to make a lattice and paint its teeth on this very lattice.

  3. Good evening, dear colleagues modelers. Today I present to you my next work from the Polish company ARMA Hobby. This is a brand new model and is simply beautiful to build. I had great fun putting it together. I practically didn't have to modify anything on this model and I didn't use any aftermarket.

It was not designed for a jet engine at all. though it may look that way.  No more than other pusher tail-first designs such as the Curtiss Ascender.  "doomed to emergency landings" is just nonsense, but it no doubt required careful handling.  Certainly unsuitable for the average Japanese fighter pilot of 1945, had the other problems not ruled that out anyway.

"The idea of a canard-based design originated with Lieutenant Commander Masayoshi Tsuruno, of the technical staff of the IJN in early 1943. Tsuruno believed the design could easily be retrofitted with a turbojet, when suitable engines became available"

Lovely model. Incredible detail hidden away.

I read that after capture, the Americans decided due to the inherently insufficient counter force on the torque acting from the prop, that they didn't actually dare test fly it.

No idea if this is true or not, though.

This aircraft was designed for a jet engine. He's awkward with blades. With such high landing gear, it was doomed to emergency landings and even takeoffs and was of little use for operation. Obviously, with a jet engine, such high landing gear would not be needed and the aircraft would become practical and airworthy.

  6. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! It's my next model. I chose this color because the model showed weapons that actually weren't there. This sealed the fate of this model as a “What if?” The prototype of this aircraft actually fell into the hands of the Americans as a trophy. But it was not put into operation. And yes, I know this is mid-WWII paint job. But the trophy was received at the end of the war and therefore could hardly have been painted like that.

I've been thinking about doing this with mine in the stash. It would get very tail-heavy, though and would be very finnicky to boot! Yours looks great as is.

Yes, I agree. A dilemma arises. If you make it from metal, then you will need to make runners from them and also add a flat weight under the floor of the cabin. What confuses me more about this idea is the heterogeneity of the metal structure and the need to combine different profiles. Apparently some of them will have to be left plastic, but at the same time the thickness will have to be significantly reduced. For example, I mean the beam to which the rear direction screw is attached.
