  1. Actually, I think they would have carried Paveway IVs. Not sure about the snesor fit, though. Tom
  2. Checking Wiki and other sources, yes, any combination is possible. I suspect they're painting them all gray today, but no telling. Tom
  3. I checked and found this source for hull numbers: https://www.ebay.com/itm/182803826231?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200818143230%26meid%3D7ecd6ac36b1248ee82e7ea28f5845739%26pid%3D101224%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D173323872788%26itm%3D182803826231%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c101224.m-1. I don't know anything about them, though. Tom
  4. I'll second that his publications are great! Got the F4U cockpit one, along with a couple of his books about the F4U and they are outstanding!! Tom
  5. They also did the Louisiana (BB-71), the Des Moines (CA-134), and the Salem (CA-139) in 1/700 scale. Tom
  6. I had a look around and found FS 36375 here: https://ams-std-595-color.com/. I'm sorry, but I couldn't really find when 36375 came into effect. However, it's Light Ghost Gray, which has been on F-14s, F-15s, F-16s, F-18s, and other aircraft. So, it's been around since at least the mid-80s, I believe. Sorry I couldn't help you more. Tom
  7. What I should have added, Giorgio, is that once a missile is in the air, it's still faster than an F-16. And yes, making a firing pass at a faster speed means less aiming time. And with all the problems the F-16 had with the pod, not worth the time or trouble, anyway.
  8. Reminds me of the story on Anthony G Williams' site about the Soviet Gsh-6 30 mm cannon mounted on the Mig-27 (https://quarryhs.co.uk/GSh-6-30.htm), although that fiasco was even worse. I wonder if any aircraft could survive over the battlefield for very long. An F-16 may be faster than an A-10, but the missiles are still faster than an F-16. Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising painted a bleak and likely accurate picture... Tom
  9. Apologies, Joe! I missed this! I'll check them out-I've ordered from them a few times and alwys get good service. Thanks, Tom
  10. Thank you for that, Selwyn! Who's paint do you use? Thanks, Tom
  11. Thank you all again so much for your help! I do have some Model Master 34092 I could use. Jamie, you'll never hear anything like that from me! I so greatly appreciate your paints and the work you do, in addition to your full time job! The US distributor needs to step up, as @72modeler has mentioned. Again, thanks so much for all your help. @Selwyn, many thanks as well for your contribution. I'll look for the paint. And yes, Texas to Aberdeen would be a haul. Maybe with a new hypersonic airplane :)? Tom
  12. Thank you all for your suggestions! I really appreciate them! I'll have to look and see if I can find Xtracolour paints over here and Colourcoats is a losing battle, as the distributor doesn't carry much and doesn't get any resupply. I may be able to do the Humbrol 3 and 100. I'll have to look. Thank you again! Tom
