  5. Hello All, I'd have to agree with Shar2. WEM paints are a very good match and they seem to do more colurs then most. Having said that i still like to use Gunze paints now and then. korean.
  6. Hello All, My lastest model and i'm calling this almost done, just a few more things to do. It is of course the Trumpeter 1/32 Harrier II Night Attack aircraft, built striaght from the box, well almost striaght from the box. I have added my own little touches. Hope you like it. Paints used were a mixture of Mr Hobby, Tamiya, White Ensign and Citadel. Decals from the kit and they were very good, much to my surprise as few of Trumpeters older decals leave a lot to be desired. Generally the build was trouble free, my only gripe was that there is no colur reference for the weapons. korean.
  7. Hello All, Yes i am a big US Navy fan and do have quite a lot of books on the subject and i have had the privlage to vist quite afew US Navy carriers namely the USS Enterprise, USS Harry S. Truman and the USS America. As for the tidiness of my work area, i was alway taught a clean area is a safe area and that thinking has spilled over into my modelling. My work area is split into lilbary, construction, painting, final contruction and then photograph's. I am lucky as i have at the sugestion of my wife had the area above my study converted into the modelling room you now see, all the old units you may be able to see came from my old kitchen. They just needed a lick of paint. I hope this may inspire other modellers to do the same thing, only of course if you have the room. The filter came with the spray booth, i do use it a lot but as you can see from the photo i have right next to my velox window. Which i might add is always open when spraying or cleaning the airbrush. korean.

  20. Hello all, Just wanted to say a BIG Thank you to Trumpeter for sending me a replacement canopy for my 1/32 Harrier. I had to contact them as the UK importer did'nt even bother reply to my letters or e-mails, so i contacted Trumpeter direct. It took a couple of weeks to arrive and i did'nt even know they had sent it. No contact from them what so ever, but who cares when the missing part arrives. So once again Thank you Trumpeter. Korean.

    Which way to paint

Hello Paul, No i did'nt use cellulose as the enamel paint was from Hannants and the acylic was Halfords white primer.
  22. Hello everyone, Help i need a 1/32 canopy for my Trumpeter Harrier, it has a small crack in it. Have tried Pocket bond the importers no luck not even a reply!, and i also wrote to Trumpeter them sevles, and just as before no reply. Can any one help?? Korean.
  23. Hello every one, I had a problem with my painting, I first painted on a emamel primer, then went over it with an acylic paint which then started to react with the paint below. I therefore had to strip all the paint off using Mr Muscle oven cleaner, which by the way worked brilliantly. My question is should will the acylic react with the enamel if i paint the acylic first? and then the enamel. Or did i just have bad luck? Korean, :shithappens:

Hello, Whats the best way to remove Halfords primer paint and enamel paint from the same model. Enamel on the bottom and over sprayed with Halfords primer. I may have have made the mistake of spraying acylic over enamel. Korean.
