Hurricane and Swordfish - Airfix 1/72 - FINISHED
PZRGREN replied to Vadim's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
A work of art!! I have to aim for this level of quality when doing rigging now! -
Many Thanks for the kind words. The PE zim was straight forwards but as has been mentioned it is to "perfect" and I havent damaged it. I have the 1/35 king tiger which would have zim too, I think the paste method might be the best option!

I've had this kit, Tamiya, for years and haven't built any armour for almost as long so thought I would have a crack after seeing the Panther build by PlaStix. Tracks are the individual kit ones and are a weak point. I just need to do the crew now that came with the kit. Kit: Tamiya 1/35 Tiger I E Late w/commander and crew. AM: Aber zimmerit in PE, metal barrel/brake, some of an Eduard detail set. Paints: Vallejo Model Air and Tamiya.

Great work...I'm also interested in how you do the base. Have you cut into the base, as it is full hull? Roger. -

Your camo is outstanding, well all of the build is. I might give this brush painting a try on my newly started Tiger. -
An awesome work of art!! Even more impressive that it is in 1/48!!

Thanks for the info, we have Asda in the UK which I think is still owned by Wal-Mart. I will look for the equivalent here.

Crackin' builds/diorama. The fact they are in such a small scale is even more impressive!

PZRGREN replied to Nigel Heath's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Keep up the good work Nigel!! Its always a struggle when away from the modelling it allows for a recharge of the mojo batteries sometimes. I have started to organise a "pack" for when away for a few days/weeks so i can at least prep parts when away, it doesnt always work if you know what I mean...
