I don't care how much it costs I'm having one, I've been waiting for this since the group B days. -
Revell Star Wars Master Series - Fine Molds reissue?
dazinio replied to 172flogger's topic in The Rumourmonger
This may sound daft but they do look very toy like to me and not a representation of a (Fantasy) movie Spaceship.- 38 replies

Not complaining I enjoy all sorts of modelling but is there another industry where the product you buy could be badly fitting or the wrong shape? Ikea cupboards perhaps?

Going by this year I can predict that in 2017 we will get either a B29, Lincoln or Victor btw I have no insider knowledge but if you look logically every year we have had a large bomber and or star kit so a B29 would conclude the main WW2 heavies and then it's Cold War maybe we'll finally get the 1/72 Canberra b.2 I've been hoping for!!

Guess I was right then, smug mode! !

I've got the Hasegawa kit and it's very nice but I am wondering if we will ever get a perfect kit!!

Just seen it for the first time on UK EBAY and bought one. Not too bothered if it isn't super accurate after we might not get another mainstream IM kit again.- 9 replies

1/72 new tool Heinkel He-111P2 from Airfix in 2015
dazinio replied to KoenL's topic in The Rumourmonger
It has lots of room for bombs, just doesn't have any bombs at all. -
Maybe it's just me but the F.8 Meteor just looks right and I will certainly add at least one for the stash.

I wonder when Airfix will announce their new tool B-17G? After all 2014 Lancaster, 2015 Heinkel HE111, So surely a B-17G must follow....Right?
-
Seeing as the Heinkel was supposed to be out now it's quite a push back to the end of September I know there's any number of reasons why this could be it just annoys me when it's been advertised in the Airfix magazine for quite a while and I've got the cash in my hands ready to buy it!!

Cue the tumbleweed -
After reading the VC10 Bookazine I have decided that I would love to build every version of it, but I must admit my favourite versions are those in RAF service.

There's going to be a new Model and hobby store opening somewhere in North Wales! Just as soon as I win the lottery

I have started to notice a few rarities going up on Ebay since Kitstarter was announced obviously cashing in their investments.
-
Just a thought although this might have been mentioned before but does Kitstarter now mean only new tools will be mentioned in the catalogue from now on?
-
To be fair I have all the kits I currently want excluding future releases and those kits I can't currently afford, however if I see a box on a shelf in a store that you don't fancy buying online it can appeal just by holding it in my sweaty palms and seeing the box top close up, I believe there is room for both online and high street sales. I like the idea of kitstarter but I think some of the prices need to be lowered for some kits they may reproduce. Srn.1 £20 yes, Black Prince £20 definitely Westland Scout, cessna 0-2 no chance

new tool Avro Lancaster and B-17 Cute Fortress by Meng
dazinio replied to 172flogger's topic in The Rumourmonger
Absolutely ridiculous and may I say a bit of a waste of plastic, I most certainly won't be getting one or both (until they get to the UK of course.) -
Is the F-35 Lightning II going to be called the Lightning III in UK service?
-
If the TSR.2 had gone into service as the Bac Eagle then what would the F-15 have been called?
-
Couldn't they be transferred to the Army? It's mission profile is pretty much the same as a Helicopter gunship anyway.
