Where's the Tornado GR.4?

Will Airfix do any of these in 1/72 ( new Tool)?
dazinio replied to Steven Corvi's topic in Aircraft Cold War
I personally think that Airfix should produce every every front line RAF type post war onwards. Let's face it they are well on the way already. -
Where possible I mainly use Tamiya followed by Revell acrylics and then Humbrol enamels for more specific colours. I find Revell acrylic Silver better than Tamiya but the other Revell metallic are pretty awful. I very very rarely use Humbrol acrylics as they are pretty bad.

Should we be expecting a new Airfix release announcement today?
dazinio replied to Rabbit Leader's topic in The Rumourmonger
Yeah I like the JP3 and will most likely buy it, but quite a few people ( Me included! ) were really excited thinking it would be a Spey Phantom can't remember lots of people hoping for a JP3. Still time of course but I hope it's not a missed chance.- 593 replies

Your Airfix top (REALISTIC) future releases?
dazinio replied to dpm1did1's topic in The Rumourmonger
I think a 1/48 Chipmunk would be a winner especially with 1 pilot and 1 dumpy Air Cadet with hairy Mary trousers and a silver bone dome! ! -

For me I was looking into getting the Revell B-17G but I'm now going to wait for the Airfix version as I know it's going to be better and I'll get the P-40 as well simply because I think it looks cool and I'd rather get a new tool Airfix kit than an old Monogram kit or a hard to get likely overpriced Hasegawa effort.
-
Modern/Cold war 1/350 British ships would be nice also, Spey Phantoms so need to be done by Airfix. Some 1/48 Cold war airfield vehicles and figures and how about some more 1/12 figures, Churchill, Nelson maybe Jfk Martin Luther King even?
-
I imagine Airfix would scan quite a few aircraft/Tanks/Military vehicles and perhaps once they look into them if they can't bring the kit into a certain price point or complexity, parts count etc maybe they discard them or save them for the future.

Yes but first you must have the Lincoln and then a B-29/B-50 Washington then a Canberra B.2 which I would love by the way.

I do think that after next year's B-17G the big bomber kit for 2017 will be the Avro Lincoln. That seems most logical although a B-29 is possible too. Still happy with the direction Airfix is going in and will buy most of next year's output.

A new Airfix Chipmunk would be very welcome, I know AZ Model have announced one but that doesn't seem to be happening.

well heres a picture of the instructions and the box its part no.8 the front of the cowling seen in part 3
-
I know that this is the longest of long shots but would anyone have a part built kit or parts of the above kit mainly part no.8 the front of the cowling? Of course in my long run of rotten luck I bought a sealed kit off EBAY and part no.8 is missing. My wife thinks we are going to win the lottery, with my luck we'll probably end up oweing them money!

A few months ago Perth military modelling listed this kit CB35207 1/35 British Army Quad Atv with trailer and soldiers. But since then I've heard nothing and can't find any lsting on the Bronco website. Anyone have any idea of this kit?
-
Interesting ideas might try the pva one on a Matchbox Brewster Buffalo it'll give me good practice on smaller kits before I attempt the miniscule Vulcan and Victor canopies, they are beautiful kits though and at a good price from HLJ.
-
Would anyone know of any available or forthcoming canopy and wheel masks for these kits?

How Green Was My Interior - or was it grey? plus info on BS381
dazinio replied to John's topic in Aircraft WWII
Not that it helps much but around 30 years ago I visited a Wellington wreck near the Conwy falls in North Wales. The one thing I remember most is the colour of the interior parts and I've always found Humbrol 78 to be a good match to my memory of the wreck, although of course the weather will have affected it somewhat. -
I have to agree on the Revell Aqua paint really is a joy to use especially the Silver. As a hairy stick user it really comes out nice.
