Can't agree more, Steve. They are remarkable products in their own style. They make,or made, a number of 1:48 planes in the easy range too.if your not a stickler for 1:72 only, I'd recommend them esp the P38.Unbelivably easy to build compared to some of the complicated breakdowns of some kit's of the type. The moulding technology is nothing short of spectacular.
Your Corsair is a splendid example of what can be done with them.
Bravo
Thanks Rob,I've built the P51,P47 and the 109G in the bigger scale great kits for the price might have to look out for the Lightning now.

Great choice Chris not often we see this type of aircraft in a GB let alone in RFI.

Hi folk's,love them or hate them these kit's are as cheap as chip's ideal for mojo restoring when you get bogged down on bigger subject's and for those
wanting to hone painting skills. This is the Korean war version, after priming in black it was brush painted sea blue then I passed over a few streaks of slightly
lighter blue rocket's added and there she is probably less than three hour's over a few days to complete for the Salty Sea Dog GB.

Nice one John one of my favourite kits too, shout out if the decal's fall short sure to have some spare's from my recent Mig fest.

Superb choice Paul, one of those kit's I think most of us would love to have a go at before we call it a day modelling wise, always mega expensive in my mind but now a modern
1/48 jet kit would outstrip it so now really good value for money for what you can pick them up for.

Good choice Luke especially with that recon version the base kit is old but a good one none the less.

Hi folk's well it had to happen, never had a problem ever with KK and I know they do state sometimes the boxing can be different but what arrived was a very
ancient issue in poor condition shot decals and a pebbled canopy not worth wasting time on really so I'll keep the thread and look for a replacement.

What was worst with the decals Steve?
Just very thin Col so any panel lines etc the white serial's cover took some fettling as they had a patchy look ended up putting pin pricks in the worst areas to squeeze the air out,
two of the stars broke up luckily I had spares.

Make that never any Airfix Boston build's on here Rob! Great job on a kit most would run away from nowadays,a possible contender for an Airfix new tool in the future?
