It was a great evening as always, I did take 2 photos of the Sabreliner, not my thing really. I was more interested in the RAF Bae 146......Very nice!!!!
Any C+C welcomed

Managed a few more hours on the Spit the last few evenings. Heres the story so far.......
I also had a practise at weathering the underside of my Hurricane before I apply fully to the Spitfire underside
Its the first bit of weathering ive done so go easy on me!!! I used the heavy dirt Flory model wash.

Great advice jas. altough heavily pre shaded models look amazing, you are right. Scale em up and they would look strange. I am going to keep this post updated. Today I bought the camo paints ( and an airfix 1/72nd Sea king for £2.99!!!). Im looking forward to getting the Camo on the Spit.

I've already painted over the white dunlop. I would like to do a small amount of weathering but due to the fact i've never done any before, i'm unsure about how to go about it. I have bought some tamiya weathering sets, B and D. i was hoping to use the 'soot' to dirty her up a bit.

Had a few more hours to build some more of the Spit today. Heres how far ive got. This is my 2nd go at scribbing (my hurricane didnt go as well as i hoped) This time i'm happy with the results. I have primmed it and now im going to have a go at pre shading. I attempted this on my last model but it didnt show through. Im going to try thinning the paint down a bit more. Any |advice is welcomed......
