  1. really nice lookin motor. i just got myself 1 cheep tho its the 20s patern.
  2. Nicely done . iv often looked at the kit n wished i could get one. il just have to wait for a plastic one to be reliesed tho as its a bit to pricey for me
  3. great job.the finish is beautiful. iv only made the emher wippet n that was awkward as hell. if got a tadpole thats gathered enough dust n i aught to get on with it too
  4. Nice job. i agree the paint sceme look very eyecatching (not really a good idea when you think about it lol) n thth etch really improves things too
  5. HI all this will be my first build on here but hopefully not my last. iv always got half a dozen models n figures on the go at once. (26 at the moment actually) so il try not to flood the forum with stuff. in the meantime here is one i started a couple of weeks ago that i will complete on here over the next month hopefully. firtsly these ara some german prisoners iv converted from Master Box set3517 German captives. there are 2 boxes worth but i ditched the russians so just the crouts here. The idea came from a picture i have in a book ov german POWs following a carrier while a jeep with monty in drives past This carrier iv had on the go for a few years but iv finally decided to finish it. the brits are from Verlinden n are almost finished now im looking for a driver figure for the carrier as over the years friends have begged all mine away. sods law ah iv also got 3 brits to go in n on the carrier from the MINIART british tank riders (nw europe) set 35118. thats all for now but as arnie as so fond of saying "IL BE BACK"
  6. very nice work. many hors well spent i should think
  7. nice work. dpms never easy to get rite. iv done a few n im still not hapy with them but i keep trying. hope you will be showing more of these builds if you do any
  8. very nice job n i agree with DADS203 about the layout, but then i cant blame you as i spent many a day n night stuck in the back of one tuning them in.
  9. nice to see those old kits are still popular. its about time someone did a new carrier in plastic tho
  10. WELL BUGGER ME SIDEWAYS. Iv got exactly the same kit to do myself , n the box looks identical too. il definatly be following this build with interest so when i build my one il know all the pitfalls. iv also got 2 white metal n 1 resin version of this in 1/35 so may start big n work my way down. thanks for this
  11. for dioramas n vignetts i find picture frames very usefull. you can pick them up in a veriety of shapes n sizes from places like Wilkinsons n Q D. Tho if your on a real budget mast charity chops have them, they might need a quick coat of paint or varnish but its suprising what you can find
  12. lol it sure is. i was in signals many moons ago n i dont think you can beat a good series III FFR with a clansman 321 in it. unless your going round a corner at speed lol
  13. really nice work. iv got 2 chevys n a few of them figures bin sitting on my shelf for years, seeing this has given me the urge to start on them. thanks for showing
  14. HI ALL, im helping a friend with his first model aircraft. hes a big tom cruise fan so i got him a 1/48th tomcat for his birthday n we are looking for some advice. Firstly decals, does anyone know of any aftermarket sets for the TOP GUN movie version, if so can you let me know who does them so i can go shopping. secondly i remember once, brousing threw a traders stock at a show .(i was looking for parts for a corsair at the time) that someone does a set of US NAVY pilot figures doing a high five. i think it was actually called " the need for speed" tho i cant be sure as its a while ago n i wasnt that interested. but they were clearly ment to be MAVRIK & GOOSE. tho again im not sure of the manufacturers name Any help anyone can give me would be most helpful thanks
