  1. Plastikowe.pl posted models from IBG 2018-2019 catalogue. For ground forces in 1/72 scale those are coming:
  2. Somebody have added Heller's AAC.1 TOUCAN to scalemates, but with description "new parts". Can somebody confirm or deny, that this is not a simple rebox? After anybody can add whatever there.
  3. I remember a few years ago Heller had plans to produce a new Tiger alongside their Sherman, but still there is no sight of if in catalogue.
  4. Revell/Hobbico should create a new cryptocurrency, a ScaleCoin, which could allow fast, worldwide treading of Revell kits. Idea is not mine though. Kodak to Launch Cryptocurrency: Stock Soars on ICO News
  5. From the other hand, many (smaller?) companies do otherwise to increase sales. I guess it works roughly like that: LHS or distributors would buy 15 kits, but with 4 different boxes they may have to buy each ones, so for example 4 x 5 = 20 kits total. I guess more niche producers aims for modellers, who want specific variants/schemes, when mainstream producers, supplying toy shops etc. aims for people who want just a Spitfire, Bf-109 and on.
  6. I'm pretty pleased with 2018 range in 1/72. Indeed there is one new tool in 1/72, but I hoped for Wimpy for a long time. New decals really suits me to. I even looked for decals for Czechoslovakian Me-262 and Polish Mitchell, but now I got those served right of the box. Also I was thinking about making Sea King in some fancy camouflage, and I got Norwegian one. That makes 3 kits I'm interested in without need for aftermarket decals, so I'm happy.
  7. We already have two new tool British bombers, so I would be really surprised is another one is planned next year.
  8. I would say that quite often in comparison to other less known conflicts, at least in 1/72 scale. Even Airfix added such camouflage for Ju-87B or HS-123, ICM have special Spanish boxes for I-15 or SB-2, Czech companies add those pretty often, UM/UMMT and Mirage kits had decals for Soviets AFV's and so on. Still, it didn't make it by GB poll year ago. For sure it is the most known interwar conflict, at least in the West.
  9. Count me in! I have this one on mind and in stash: I assume Dominican Civil War is obscure enough I see problem with "small" have been already nailed, but I will open another can of worms. What is war? I wonder is any combat is good enough, for example, would Morocco's OV-10 Bronco qualify? Source
  10. At this point consensus is that it is a Dragon kit.
  11. I hope somebody will finally make an "a" version finally. So for there is only some old vacu-form or home-made resin kits. I would love to make it in Hungarians markings.
  12. I'm sorry for missing a company name in title. Also I cannot put a link to a email obviously, but I will add citation. Also, after a announcement I will update a tittle.
  13. I just saved link for my last realistic retools in 1/72 scale post. By the way, we already have a thread for those. Your Airfix top (REALISTIC) future releases? Although this one: Vickers Wellington B.III is was already announced.
  14. In 1/72 there is enough Fokker Triplanes I think. By the way, what exactly is wrong with Camel made by Roden?
  15. Tamiya posted a photos of 1/72 Tony on twitter. https://twitter.com/tamiyainc/status/939350619827052545 https://twitter.com/tamiyainc/status/939350619827052545
  16. Sure. Afghan Air Force 1924-1928 (Blue Rider Publishing) BR418 - Decals for a de Havilland DH9, an Avro 504K and two Duks R-1, all serving with the Afghan Air Force between 1924 and 1928.
  17. About ships, one of the most famous Polish destroyer, second of Grom-class destroyers, ORP Blyskawica, and the oldest preserved destroyer in the world, was built in UK by J. Samuel White in 1935–37. There are models of those make by Mirage Hobby in 1:400 and some resin kits in 1:700. There were more British ships serving in Polish Navy during WWII, but those were given and returned back during war, so I'm not sure if those qualify.
