  1. Revell made a slide show with this month kits.
  2. I agree with this. When every Workbench had to possibility to reveal something completely new, it was exiting. Now it is sometimes so full of corporate-style hyping it is funny. And if Airfix had a cash to hire a bunch of lawyers to harass their customers forum for blowing up their PR stunt (which I highly doubt because Hornby is not a "old big mouse"), instead of making better models, it would hilarious. I mean, one big announcement event is a bit of fun, but by no means it can be so important for their sales, that having list posted a few days earlier costs then any revenue. Maybe some manager will get a hit to his ego that his "great plan" failed, but that's it. I could understand some very early leak, resulting in Chinese company rushing their kit to hit shops earlier, but It is not such case. Seriously, it's a digital era, get up and move to XXI century, not just put some important news into magazine and try to coordinate it with website. More detailed informations, more background, some nice additions like small frame and decals to make another variant, there is many ways to make a profit from dedicated collectors and fans, but not this. Somehow Eduard or Arma Hobby etc. manage to release their informations when they want. Anyway, aren't we supposedly, ,a forum dwellers, a small minority of their customers, so why Airfix care about a leak here? Ok, enough bashing, time for some praise. "Beginners kit" - if this is a step forward kits for both advanced modellers and regulars ones, that's great. Seriously, making kits with many small fiddle parts, PE, etc. for and kits good for kids and toy shops must be a real nightmare for designers.
  3. Renders of sprues were from the start on Arma Hobby's webshop page 😉
  4. Expert set will have one FAA scheme. Also, Techmod have set no 72026 - General Motors Wildcat VI, maybe now more aftermarket decals for Wildcat VI will appear. I am going to put FAA all Dark Blue Wildcat VI from Pacific on my ever growing wishlist.
  5. I guess some could be find, like American pilot with Polish roots, Janusz Żurakowski testing them in Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment, or maybe some Polish pilots making ferry flight, but that is so far fetched that anything goes now. Also IBG have picked up many Polish planes alrready.
  6. Actually Polish pilots were flying on basically everything. Informations taken from http://www.samolotypolskie.pl: Sgt Stanisław Domański, on16.06.1944 r. as a first Polish pilot shot down V-1, when flying Tempest” Mk.V nr JN752 JF-S with No. 3 squadron. Polish pilot also were serving in No. 56 and No. 286 squadrons. Polish engineer Władysław Fiszdon was involved in developing this aircraft. After war Polish pilots were flying on it when serving in Royal Pakistan Air Force.
  7. The newest workbench have some bits about 350 scale ships. Highlights made by me. Personally I would love somebody to finally make injected WWII British U-class, V-class or T-class submarine in 1/350 scale.
  8. I have decided to go for 1/48 for the first time, and bought a RPM's Ford T Ambulans M1917. Such a nice and cheap little gem from Great War.
  9. Colour schemes are published with profiles in Arma Hobby store. 70035 Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc Expert Set Hurricane Mk IIc, BE500/LK-A, 87 Squadron RAF, Spring 1942. Pilot: S/Ldr Denis Smallwood. 10. I'm already here under no. 19. I have just bumped thread with ideas for others.
  11. That Japanese one is Type A Kō-hyōteki-class submarine - only two men to run theoretically proper submarine, which was transported to and from their target areas on the decks of larger Type C1 submarines. Usually "from their target" part did not worked out though. About Neger, from wikipedia: "About 200 vessels of this type were manufactured in 1944. The first Neger vessels entered service in March 1944. However, the Neger turned out to be very hazardous for its operator and up to 80 percent were killed. In return one cruiser, one destroyer, and three Catherine Class BAMS minesweepers were sunk in 1944 with the weapon". Well, basically it was two torpedoes, but one was supposed to go back. I know about this midget submarine type because first Polish cruiser, ORP Dragon, was damaged to the point she was soon scuttled by one.
  12. A few ideas: IJN A-TARGET Type A Sydney Bay German Human torpedo "Neger" in 1/35 scale And in 1/72 scale
  13. Mostly with different colours schemes, not a different aircraft variants. Different Hawks had different engines, cowling, armament and so on.
  14. I guess that's a guess, but I have checked wiki and it have also September 1939 connection. Anyway, I doubt many boxes will follow, because Arma Hobby do not make multiple variants.
  15. Polish pilots were flying on almost everything with wings and made by allies during WWII, so scope is quite wide here. Personally I guess time is coming slowly for some French planes, Morane-Saulnier MS-406C.1 or Caudron CR.714, plane so bad, that only Poles were crazy enough to fight in it. For the closest kit, I bet on RWD-14 Czapla, but I hope for RWD-13.
  16. This company haven't resealed plastic kits so far, those helicopters are first. However Answer isn't completely new to the hobby, it was a paper kits company.
  17. It is Sherman, but in 1/72 it is a SU-85. For me also S-400 missile system (Rus. C-400) in 1/72 is interesting, I hope for Turkish decals. Ship in 1/350 seems to be Delta IV-class submarines (Project 667BDRM Delfin).
  18. I have, I bought RWD-8 kit for Estonian decals, and those were way too small and had wrong font.
  19. I'm just repeating what Arma wrote on Facebook. Apparently air intakes in wings and radiator are different. More about may be in planned further articles on blog.
  20. Under the announcement on Facebbok, Arma Hobby confirmed there will be no "razorback", because there is to many differences, and those are basically different aircraft. Also Bregun Yak-1b is a early type, when theirs is a late one.
  21. I have the same problem with Indian TS-11, and the same solution, but can really be Mistercraft be trusted with accuracy of decals?
