Is it a bit too early for 2017 new tooling news, isn't it? It may be a new variant of existing tooling. Still a Beaufighter Mk VIF or Mk IIF can make for a nice news. Anyway, "mouth watering" - water - ship? I haven't made a guess for one, so now I say 1/350 U-class submarine.

This: Retooling of old Airfix Fiat G.50 is a good idea too. Can we count Faire Battle to Battle of Britain too? It was used (also by Polish squadron) in operations against shipping massed in the Channel ports for Operation Sealion.

For some reason Revell made a series of their 1/72 and 1/76 AFV with World of Tanks game CD and bonus codes. Later WoT made a deal with Italeri. Off course things differs between places, countries and so on, but surprisingly even a WWII based games can add fans to airplanes, boats and models, when in fact they may be considered as a opposition to modelling. After all Japanese companies keep making anime based models for niche things which never existed. In the other worlds, I'm not sure if statement about younger people being interested only in cars is a little bit too radical. Other example is Skyfall helicopter from Italeri. I think companies are trying to get new people to hobby.

This photo is in my copy of Zumbach book. There is other where soldiers and Zumbach are standing and according to description, "bomber de Havilland Dove" is visible in backround, code KAT-22 is visible on tail.

Looking by previous releases, that is not a very important factor, because those are good sellers, so Airfix will earn anyway. Good point with P-47, I have checked and Tamiya made P-47D "Razorback" too, but Airfix may do some earlier model. Just too make things clear, those first are my guess for the most probable, not my wishlist.

What about Katanga? I have read Jan Zumbach (commander of both those air forces) autobiography (Mister Brown: Aventures dans le ciel / On Wings of War: My Life as a Pilot Adventurer / Ostatnia walka: Moje życie jako lotnika, przemytnika i poszukiwacza przygód) and so both are tempting for me. If I am correct one Dove was used as a improvised bomber in Katanga.

Indeed, especially for Minor Axis (or just minor countries) fans. Set of Hungarian tanks, and even Attack will make a Slovak LT. vz.40.

It's may be quite of offtopic here, but there is no general thread or specific for newest Roden 72nd scale Rolls-Royce car, it quite slipped under the radar. It was a good idea for adding Irish decals, I'm going to add it to my collection.

Company subscribers got a email with information, that both "Biało-Czerwone Iskry" and Indian will get their own boxing.

Should we be expecting a new Airfix release announcement today?
Botan replied to Rabbit Leader's topic in The Rumourmonger
Could it be a suggestion? https://www.facebook.com/officialairfix/photos/a.80699376270.112940.65102591270/10153623219681271/?type=3&theater- 593 replies

Looks that I found an explanation. Apparently older instruction for this decal set (I have a newer one) had a olive drab instead of red. http://modelingmadness.com/scott/decals/br/br400.htm

What do you mean by "it wasn't red"? I have both decals from Blue Rider and Huma model in stash by the way, what a lucky coincidence

Waiting for MkVIF and Mk.II though. Mk.VIF can even get American camouflage

Yes and no, it was known that B5N1 will follow B5N2 since March, but not officially from Airfix http://www.aviationofjapan.com/2015/03/airfix-nakajima-b5n-sprue-frames.html- 593 replies

My bet: P-47 Razorback, if not then it's a new variant of P-40 or P-51.
