Nuremburg 2016 News For Braille AFV Modellers
Botan replied to Sgt.Squarehead's topic in The Rumourmonger
First To Fight news spotted - FlaK 20mm w/trailer - Polish Bofors 40mm AA - Polish Schneider 75mm (w/tires) - le.IG 75mm (w/tires) - Polish Praga RV Source: https://www.facebook.com/tankmodels/posts/1158572490827466 Polish Bofors is a nice addition to earlier released C2P -
Indeed, especially for Minor Axis (or just minor countries) fans. Set of Hungarian tanks, and even Attack will make a Slovak LT. vz.40.

I have found photos of sprues on shops site here I would be nice see instruction, but there is no need to be hurry, I will get it eventually. It looks headlamp are hollow, which is nice.
-
It's may be quite of offtopic here, but there is no general thread or specific for newest Roden 72nd scale Rolls-Royce car, it quite slipped under the radar. It was a good idea for adding Irish decals, I'm going to add it to my collection.

Company subscribers got a email with information, that both "Biało-Czerwone Iskry" and Indian will get their own boxing.

Should we be expecting a new Airfix release announcement today?
Botan replied to Rabbit Leader's topic in The Rumourmonger
Could it be a suggestion? https://www.facebook.com/officialairfix/photos/a.80699376270.112940.65102591270/10153623219681271/?type=3&theater- 593 replies

Looks that I found an explanation. Apparently older instruction for this decal set (I have a newer one) had a olive drab instead of red. http://modelingmadness.com/scott/decals/br/br400.htm
-
What do you mean by "it wasn't red"? I have both decals from Blue Rider and Huma model in stash by the way, what a lucky coincidence
-
Waiting for MkVIF and Mk.II though. Mk.VIF can even get American camouflage

I wonder if there is a chance that Airfix will make a a new Soviet or French plane.

Yes and no, it was known that B5N1 will follow B5N2 since March, but not officially from Airfix http://www.aviationofjapan.com/2015/03/airfix-nakajima-b5n-sprue-frames.html- 593 replies

My bet: P-47 Razorback, if not then it's a new variant of P-40 or P-51.
-
So my wild guess is: Vultee Vengeance

1/72 - RWD-8 PWS & DWL by IBG Models - released - new boxing
Botan replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
Also Arma Hobby is preparing a correction set for wings. -
I second that one in 72. Personally, I would love to see some German/Austro-Hungarian double seaters from Great War, like LVG C.V or C.VI, Albatros J.I, Hansa-Brandenburg C.I, DFW C.V (each one with Ukrainian decals, or with decals of states which gained independence after WWI)

Please make one for FM-2 Wildcat VI, it would be great. I wonder is somebody took those picture and spread them elsewhere as a true leaks. Would be hilarious.

In my opinion (writing form Poland), is was kind of overreaction. The problem is, that there is no single definition, what "eastern Europe" is exactly, there is many definitions, and this was changing over time. This is for example according to "Regions used for statistical processing purposes by the United Nations Statistics Division" ((Eastern Europe marked red) In my personal opinion: - if somebody divide Europe in "Eastern" and "Western", Czech Republic (and Poland) are Eastern Europe countries. - if somebody divide Europe in "Eastern", "Central" and "Western" then Czech Republic (and Poland) are Central Europe No wonder there may be misunderstand with those term especially when it comes to countries on border between those. And if somebody took "eastern" as a offensive especially. To not fully lead to offtopic: 1/72 FM-2 WIldcat in my opinion would be a good idea - for casual modellers it's Wildcat (any good on market?), for more advanced it's a lacking variant. And it can have FAA markings. Win for everybody

I guess also other factor was important, after checking a armament of typical middle/late 30's bombers it's looks that pretty often they had multiple machine guns able to shot at plane attacking form back or above, but sides and bottom very pretty poorly defended, one small calibre machine gun at the best (defiant had four). Also, I thing that idea which created Defiant haven't ended with it. Like for me Schräge Musik was in some way similar concept (shot if from side), but without turret. And it worked not bad, which wasn't good for British Bomber Command. But it just my opinion.

Botan replied to CzechKits.com's topic in Aircraft WWII
Potez 25? I think it's a good idea: Military Operators AfghanistanAfghan Air Force BelgiumBelgian Air Force BrazilBrazilian Air Force ChinaChinese Nationalist Air Force Independent State of Croatia Zrakoplovstvo Nezavisne Države Hrvatske captured 42 from the Royal Yugoslav Air Force. EthiopiaEthiopian Air Force Estonia Estonian Air Force operated Potez 25 Jupiter up to 1940. Finland Finnish Air Force purchased one Potez 25 A2 to try out its flying qualities in 1927. The aircraft was flown more than 700 hours, but no deal was made. It was used until 1936. FranceFrench Air Force Free FrenchFree French Air Force Greece Hellenic Air Force[1] GuatemalaGuatemalan Air Force Japan Imperial Japanese Army Air Service Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service - Purchased as Potez CXP. Paraguay Paraguayan Air Force operated a total of 14 aircraft, six Potez 25 A.2 and eight Potez 25 TOE during the Chaco War against Bolivia. Poland Polish Air Force operated 16 aircraft bought in France and another 300 aircraft manufactured in Poland. PortugalPortuguese Air Force RomaniaRoyal Romanian Air Force SpainSpanish Republican Air Force SwitzerlandSwiss Air Force Soviet Union Soviet Air Force - Two aircraft used for tests and trials. TurkeyTurkish Air Force United StatesUnited States Army Air Corps UruguayUruguayan Air Force Kingdom of Yugoslavia Yugoslav Royal Air Force operated 200 aircraft manufactured in Yugoslavia. -
I already have started making MPM kit. I may end it with 307 Squadron day camouflage and later buy Airfix to make one with 307 night scheme. So aye. BTW somebody mentioned that Defiant is not for international customers. Is not as know as a icon Sptifire, but Polish and Czech pilots were flying on it, also is quite know as one of those "weird planes", so it my go like a Blohm & Voss Bv 141.

Look like Airfix like BoB planes. So can we get something from Corpo Aereo Italiano? G.50 would be nice
-
Personally I bet, that if Beaufighter appear, it would be similar like with Lancanster. First released will be Mk II with Merlins
