  1. Italeri is looking for propositions of new models, which is discussed here, I have already sent my ones, including Archimede class submarine in 1:350 scale!
  2. Well, I don't really mind if this is a Spanish GB or SCW GB, so I won't vote, but I see some field to compromise. We could allow to join vehicles which participated in SCW, but with post- or prewar camouflage . So I-16 with 1940 markings would be allowed, but Bf-109F wouldn't.
  3. If something could be added to SCW as a continuation, then Spanish fighters pilot from Eastern Front - Escuadrilla Azul and Soviet pilots (some even aces) who emigrated there from Spain (list)
  4. I wish Italeri produce normal 1/72 AFV models too, not only simplified for wargaming. I have sent those: 1/72 Fiat 3000 tank !/72 L6/40 tank 1/350 Spanish submarine General Sanjurjo (Ex italian Torricelli Archimede-class submarine) 1/72 Fiat Cr.20 fighter.
  5. I would like to join. With IBG Carrier Unfortunately I'm trying t join GB for first time, so I don't think I can be a coordinator. Well, Polish forces used vehicles from almost all European countries, it may be easier to say what wasn't used by them. Toro model have decals sets with captured German and Italian (well, only AB 41 armoured car) vehicles.
  6. I have never looked closely at tracks in Carrier models, but now I'm kind of tempted. Anyway, RPM FT-17 suspension was a crazy thing for me Some small update about Otter from Facebook: They will try to include Polish scheme for Otter, but they are not 100% sure if that happens. Anyway, I appreciate, that they are interactive on Facebook, and sometimes give essential responses to individual questions.
  7. I think we can't expect any new announcements until end of the year. Personally I'm getting one Otter, Toro Model have already made decals for Polish vehicles. I will wait with Type 89 for Navy grey one, but I hope IBG will add some captured Chinese scheme for more variety. Apparently French used them in Indochina too. At least IBG is developing nicely, not like Mirage Hobby, seriously their last completely new model was Armoured Car "KubuÅ›", it is probably from metal moulds, but have quality of some short-runs...
  8. New boxarts for November releases From Facebook: 72031 Otter Light Reconnaissance Car 72032 Chevrolet C60S with Holmes breakdown
  9. May I ask abour company, Broplan or Choroszy? Anyway, it is nice to met another fan of this plane.
  10. Incoming in 1/72, posted on facebook. Link to boxart Other news, taken from comments Otter and wrecker are scheduled on November, Otter was supposed to come earlier, but had delay.
  11. Well, If we change (just an idea for future or in case people stop joining) to "WWII prelude" with for example early Second Sino-Japanese War, instead a new incoming Airfix B5N1 with camouflage from 1938 I will make a Chinese He-111A! What about early He-111 Roden STGB?
  12. Count me in too. I have a few ideas
  13. They deserve a normal run though. What about Interwar conflict? There was a lot of those between 1918 and 1939, many are quite forgotten. Whole Eastern Europe after Great War had several conflicts between a new states + rebelions and uprisings, I'm still finding a new ones, like Agiri Rebellion or Aviation on the Arabian Peninsula There is a interwar GB here, together we could make it to 30.
  14. By the wau, Black Lion Decals have nice 3 decal sheets from Spanish Civil War. 72051 Spanish Civil War - Nationalist Army 72052 Spanish Civil War - Republican Forces 1 72053 Spanish Civil War - Republican Forces 2
  15. IBG put me in difficult position, I was planning to built several RWD-8... That company is Mastercraft or now Mistercraft, but it is rather a Mastercrap. Once I bought their RWD-8 for Estonian decals to find out, that those are useless, much smaller than on real plane. Putting differences between licence built planes and regular ones aside.
  16. I quickly compared a RWD-6, 9 and plans, and it seems to be quite difficult. Looks like wings and other parts were not simply copied, but improved, and so, changed. RWD-6 and -9 had different engines for example. Anyway, there is a hope RWD-9 may appear some day: LINK By the way, isn't a RWD-8 in Spain a myth? I remember once I was researching for it and found it wasn't there, but only some rumours. SCW had a lot of those. About my participation... ICM Bf 109E-3 made as a E-1 with Legion Condor decals from RPM Bf-109E-1 will do.
  17. Same for ICM I have Bf-109E-1 from RPM, but I don't remember where I put it in my stash.
  18. I'm not sure it make a point. Surely currently the best way in 1/72 is to buy a resin one from Ardpol.
  19. I expected Profipack edition to include Hungarian markings too. Well, good that aftermarket decals exist.
  20. In 1/72 I expect no ground vehicle except some kind of German Bomber Resupply set.
  21. Jet Provost have the similar style of artwork, and I like that change.
  22. Is it even possible to buy Frog Whitley now, second hand ones aside? From the other hand there is a Fly Whitley on the market.Tiger Month also was a replacement for their own tool, other existing were Czech short-runs.
  23. And what exactly this fact change? According to figures posted in the other Airfix thread some time ago around 45% of Hornby profits come from UK. Problem is that nobody here have figures, but if Airfix sells 50% of models to the rest of world, then making a "halfway decent" P-47 means being smashed between cheaper (well, hard to predict since pound is on wild ride now) Revell sold in toys shops (at least in Europe) and Tamiya, for those more demanding. Usually it could make a point to company to ignore that and still get profit from UK only, but now, when Hornby have to deal with financial problems, it do not sound like a viable option. If Airfix sells 80% in UK, then indeed company can ignore that and do a "splendid isolation". But I guess nobody have a solid figures.
  24. If this is true then why even Airfix bother with LIDAR or blueprints, instead keeping a Hurricane MkIIc/Bf109G level? If I remember correctly in their report they decided to rather go into hobby part. Going into producing semi-toys for brick and mortar shops for UK is a good way? Anyway, I hope Airfix do not pick up a Great War plane already made by Roden, Eduard have Fokker D.VII and MiG-21 in plans, and Airfix can't stand to them. There are British WWI planes completely lacking on plastic 1/72 scale models market like DH.9 or Short Type 184. Funny thing, only Airfix model mentioned in report (link was in Chat forum Airfix thread) was Westland Sea King.
