  1. Thanks everyone for all the info, my Ferret arrived yesterday. Haven't decided yet whether to build it now or wait for the upgrade set from DJ Parkins as posted on Britmodeller Ferret review comments. Can't work out how to add image or screenshot so cannot show it here. Looking forward to building it Happy building Ian
  2. Thanks Ivan-O, they look good. I have plenty of Tamiya tape, fingers crossed. Thanks again John for the images. Ian
  3. Hi guys, thanks both for your info. I think I will get the Mig paints. I cannot seem to find the Tankograd book So John if you can send me the images you mention I would be grateful. Do you need my email or is it via this site, I've not had anything PM'd to me before. Ian
  4. Hi everyone. I have my Airfix Ferret on order, and then saw a very brief video on you tube of a Ferret in the colours used in the Berlin Brigade. Does anyone have details of colours used, and the patterns as applied on Ferrets ? Was there a set pattern of colours or did they vary ? All help much appreciated Thanks Ian
  5. Hi Laurie There is a 1:48 scale Scimitar available from The Honourable Lead Boiker Suit Company. www.hlbs.co.uk Parabellum 0044 (0) 121 707 1471 sell them at model shows in the UK. I expect they will be at Scale Model World in Telford, UK 11th & 12th November.

  8. Hi Windy37 I am doing the Heller Citroen DS3 at the moment. The kit decals do have the correct Red Bull logos as per the real car, but they come in bits & pieces and have to be aligned. A bit like swasticas on WWII aircraft kits. Even the letters that make the Red Bull name do not appear in sequence. All the other decals are in one piece, Citroen, Total etc Yet another licencing issue between kits and big corporations perhaps ? If I can work out how to post pics I will put some up of my build. It is always good to see more WRC cars on this site. regards Ian
