  7. Started removing the parts from the backing sheet tonight. I'm obviously out of practice as despite a brand new blade, I still managed to both cut myself and break a part whilst trying to remove it ! I think I'll start sanding the parts I've released so far rather than separate them all, hopefully that way I can keep the carpet monster from getting an easy meal. cheers Pat

  13. Without wishing to get ahead of myself, whilst still extracting parts from the backing sheet and sanding..... Any idea what colours to use on this kit? I have mostly Humbrol paints, so I believe the interior is grey, exterior top is what looks like a dark green, underside grey ? Wheel wells ? All help greatly appreciated cheers Pat

  21. Hi @reini Great choice, I didn't know the Gnat had served in Finland. Might be worth pumping the tyres up on yours when you build it, the one in the museum looks like it's got a puncture ! cheers Pat
  22. Great choice Ash I know there was a lot of rationing during the war but the designers of this aircraft really took it to the extreme ! They must have been great for storage on Carriers however. Never seen this kit built before so good luck and look forward to following the build. Cheers Pat
  23. 32 years in the planning..... Well it would be a bit rash to make a decision now I suppose. Have a look on Scalemates I think some of these Heller kits are older than you think 😀
  24. So we currently have you down for the 1/72 Constellation, what was the big one you were going to do after that ?
