  1. Ah Finnish! Fair enough, that one looks good too.. But those Austrian ones.. ❤️
  2. Looking good - and those Austrian ones had nice colours. Christer already mentioned the J 35Js and 4 external tanks so.. I took a look in my box of the same Eduard version you have.. But sadly I gave away my tanks when I sold a recce Draken.. Otherwise you could have gotten mine.. But i will check my big bitz box too..
  3. Just bought one of these boxings, 2nd hand - to compare to the Tamiya, newer Airfix and later Eduard (not built one yet). And I like it! Apart from the mentioned tail wheel and exhaust stacks you need to insert early.. And maybe the non-dropable flaps. But the kit is excellent for its age! I prefer it over the Airfix and maybe over the Tamiya.. But those two feel close with pros and cons on each. I guess Eduards new one is just superior - but maybe fiddlier to build? We´ll see.
  4. Very nice of you. I have for quite a few aircraft of the old - and I will look at the local store if they still carry a few of the old. You never know. So no crisis but still very kind of you. And earleir today, I was about to spray the OD under the canopy, at the back of my Revell P-47N.. A little distracted by an exciting podcast - I grabbed the IG instead of OD.. And then as I sprayed - Hang on, this ain´t right. If I did not do stupid things like that, I would last forever..
  5. Yes, I will probably try those too. I have bought quite a few MRPs - but I know my Tamiya and Gunze paints so well - and they stink less, even with Mr Levelling Thinner. It is quite fun trying new stuff though..
  6. Thanks, good to know about other paints changed too.. Time to get some more MRP paints.. Glad I got a new mask and better ventilation.. But too bad, my favs are Gunze Aqueous and tamiya acrylics really.
  7. I might have a look at the mr Color stuff.. Used some a few years ago. Yeah mixing Tamiya I have done, but was kinda glad when I found the old H58 so i did not have to..
  8. Yes - and which is fine. But this new shade should not be called Interior Green. I guess there is no other shade they have, that resembles the old H58? I will try with 10% black and see how I like it..
  9. I will follow the new ones with interest. if it is Babcock, my gosspi seems inaccurate - was fishy anyways.. But I will see what i hear.. Too bad you did not get those decals, what a shame.. Hopefully you will be satisfied with the German ones instead though! I will check it out!
  10. Ah ok - spontaneously it looks a little too pale? But I should shoot it through my AB first i guess. it is great if they get, release a great match for that of course - but do not call it "Interior Green" and use the same number as for their older colour that is actually - interior green-ish? Ok, I am repeating myself but.. They could have handled it much better. I ordered this online and had no idea it was not the same shade as the jar I was replacing. And yes, i can mix in black but.. To me it is st.. Not greatly handled. Thanks for the link - and all previous work by the way.
  11. I can, but I will probably just use what i have left, mix Tamiya or use that MRP. Or, on the other hand, maybe this is when i test AK RC? I have never done that. Well, they had a decent match for wartime Interior Green, why ruin that. st.. Wait.. (And i have taken a beer - no more posting after this if i drink another.. ) Seriously - what they have now is not "interior green" but more Zinc Chromate. Atleast call it that or change numbers. What they did is st... Not the most clever thing, now is it? Yeah their new formula might be accurate for the ZC before black was added.. But not for what would be called "Interior green". I like their paints, but this was a bummer.
  12. Sounds like a great opportunity to build my 1/32 hasegawa P-47 I planned to paint as a Brazilian one - if that works? Then I´m in!
  13. No of course not. Drank too much beer and thought I was clever. I was not.😚 Yeah, I can mix it. But I have an MRP bottle too. Pretty stupid to suddenly change the shade like that. It is not "Interior Green". Was not aware they changed their formula a few years ago? What other US colours where changed, if any? RAF WW2?
  14. edited as bad language removed ..... this is not acceptable here
  15. My old to the left, the one on the right is a new jar I got today.. Did I miss anything?? 🤪 Looks like Zinc Chromate too me. Old jar is bought five plus years ago..
  16. Yeah I agree, by the looks of it, a little too thick or "raised". Kit looks fun though.. I only build 1/48 (or bigger) - but if I was a 72nd scale modeller, I would get it.. Nice subjects too!
  17. Not much of a problem with Tamiya or Gunzes "acrylics" (hybrids). Yeah, any spray paints you should really use a spray booth and a respirator..
  18. Sorry, no tips, do not know that much about them - atleast not the british ones.. But I will follow the build! I have a Swedish one just started so will be nice following yours.
  19. Nice little project, I need one of those too! And Robban´s decals are really nice. Great job so far.
  20. Oh you are?? I hope you show it off here! I absolutely LOVE the Viggens - as much as I love my Jugs (eh, P-47s!).. Hats off sir!
  21. Great build. Nice shades and weathering and i cannot recall having seen this subject for long. Always nice with "fresh" ones. David C.Schilling was a very interesting character indeed.. I have a couple of his aircraft, the decals anyways, in the stash too.. (D and M).
  22. Lovely paint-job! And those desert-Tornados are almost as fun to admire for me, as the pin-up´d P-47s..
