Got a backseat 'test flight' in 85 by a visiting Dutch F16 Display support F16 2 seater. Helped the crews and ground elements when they were based at Bzn for their summer display season.

If I can get pics later, just tell me who needs which bits. The 2 Airfix sheets should do 2 airframes- you will need national markings but most stencils and unit markings are on both sheets. The Heller sheet is complete( shabby) and Lord Riot has 1st refusal on that one. Does that sound reasonable? Oh and I'm in UK.

think i might just do this on a spare 1/48 F16 B/D i have in the stash. got 2 Airwave spines nice and cheap from Hannants, the decals i got direct from TwoBobs (they had a $5 sale) Most of the visible differences looks eminently do-able , even to my limited skills.

So my next new build will be the Italeri A7-E I've ditched the kit weapon sprue as i have over 1000 individual bombs/missiles/tanks suitable i'll be using them. Had a mooch about this afternoon and i've got 5 complete full loadouts Planning to build all 5 and change them as and when i feel like it. Going to use mini-magnets to attach the MER/TER to the wing pylons as well as the fuselage missile pylon(but that so i can take them off to clean or transport) Only issue i have is a lack of decals for 10 x Snakeye and 10 x Mavericks. No one does aftermarket that i can see. I have these 3 of these sets ;- and 1 of these I've exhausted my stash, but 150 individual new weapons will do that i guess Just need the weather to cool enough to get started.

easiest way to tell is if you can , look at Scalemates for sprue shots. The Kinetic kits and reboxed versions all have a pair of sprues with a single tailplane, 2 x AIM120 & an Aim 9X along with an ejection seat on each. It's how i have so many spare seats, as Kinetic put the same sprues into their 1 & 2 seaters, and most of mine are 1 seaters.

These are a mix of Kinetic, Hasegawa and a Tamiya 1/48 kits. I'll post a few more if thats ok?

Ok, so some background The -XL is a complete whif, grafted on a Viggen Recce nose. It's carrying a full IAF weapon load(more pics to come, honestly), decals came from the kit by Skunkworks The F16 Barak is out of box, Kinetic or Italeri rebox ( not sure in all honesty), used the kit weapons. Decals were spares from the -XL and spares from the decal stash i have. A few extra pods and weapons are from the Kinetic/Skunkworks IAF Weapon sets and various Meng weapon sets. Both of these are mainly painted using the IAF Vallejo Air boxset, applied with a brush (several very thin coats)

I have 3 x Detolf with 8 extra shelves in each ,, 2 x F16 per shelf so a bit of room for other odds and ends like my BW 1/35 Builds and my smaller SWW Wehrmacht builds.

I'll try and get a group shot of the completed builds, might take some effort to get them all out.

Easier to source and it is the kinetic kit just reboxed. Sprues are a touch heavier than kinetic, but £10-£15 cheaper.

Possible load for the recessed bays on my next F16XL-1 with a little fettling Two of those bad boys - either side of the centreline would be a nicely weird load even for my builds. or maybe on the F-14 i have sitting in the stash. Just found 4 of these in my 1/72 stash, with a further 4 complete boxed sets.

Hi New poster on here, been a background lurker since 2012 Mainly build F-16 in 1/48 or Wehrmacht 1/35 and occassionally BW in 1/35.

Awesome kit you've got there. Not made an F16 that scale, i stick to 1/48. On the ''MAGNET '' thing, do you drill out a hole and then back fill with putty and a small magnet or attach internally to the pylon and the mounting point on the weapon ?

Nice HAS F16, the kinetics are hit or miss but a cheaper alternative (at least in UK) are the Italeri late versions. They are re-boxed Kinetic kits with slightly different weapon sprues and markings.
