Just finishing this very kit.
Shame its been spoilt by the poor instructions provided, in fact had i not had the 5T Refueller version i'd never have known.
Buy an etch folding tool - it'll be invaluable.
You'll also be left with a few bits off of 1 of the Sprue A (you get 3 x Sprue A)
Part A25 x2 aren't used - use part GP10 x2 - rear light clusters.
Not a build for the beginner.

That's great, thank you for the link to Shapeways. I can see an eight wheel version [Revell 03044] which means that I can now go on a search for one. It is a left-hand drive version but that shouldn't be a big problem to scratchbuild the parts to make it a right-hand drive.
cheers,
MikeThe 8x8 isn't in current production, but they do come up on 2nd hand sites like Kingkit & Modelsforsale.com.

I did similar , thought i could 'convert' to UK spec.
in the end i just started building Bundeswehr fleet of trucks and armour.
The Revell range in 1/35 are great, and its quite a broad range.
The HobbyBoss trucks are the bees knees(if a lot of faff) with buckets of detail.
Next up for me is the Man 5T refueller, followed by the Man 7t LARS, both by Hobbyboss.

Thumbs up for those. Particularly like the Unimog Ambulance. I really don't know why, but the Unimog has always appealed to me.

Pete
Very bouncy suspension from my dim memory, although i was very very drunk

The Bundeswehr is an intresting topic, it could be great collection in the future.
These 2 are just my most recent completed builds. I have almost all the Revell 1/35 BW kits and a few others too already built and a few more yet to be build.

It’s nice to see some engineering equipment.
On a real pontoon what are the hinges actually made of?
no idea and the only footage i've seen isn't all that good. I suspect it's a piano type hinge on all 3 hinge points.

Not being one to make a kit oob or as per the easy path i decided to convert/alter these 2
Both Revell recent re-releases, both 1/35. Now does anyone know of a decent scale hinge, cos the tamiya tape hinges are frankly a pain and look rubbish.

Does anyone know of anyone making 1/35 Leopard pioneerpanzer bits?
Dozer blade, telescopic crane arm, solid towing bar - 2 piece, construction buckets.
Looked in all my usual places, MBK, LeoClub, Accurate Armour, but there seems to be a hole in ( admittedly small ) niche area of interest.
ideally looking for U.K. supplier.

If that is all, just cut them off?
I've done that on a version i did 20 (ish) years ago when it was 1st released.

Just starting my F-4F. Random, but which intakes did you use? The instructions seem to be wrong. Ta.
