Very well assembled figures, good poses. You must have made the rifle slings youself. I'm wondering what context they could be used in?

MiniArt 1/35 U.S. Soldier pushing motorcycle

Thanks Roginoz!, but whats a 1.1 WLA? -
Only picked this kit up last week, but owing to lots of spare time managed to complete in a week. The motorcycle was challenging to say the least. And I was very impressed with the recent diorama showing by Matt P, who made the 'Letter from America' that included 4 such motobikes!

Great work! I know how hard it is to assemble a motorcycle kit, I'm doing a 1/35 Miniart kit at the moment. So delicate and finicky! Very impressed!

Beautifully done! was there any aftermarket stuff used?

Very very Nice! -
Thanks Guys I always like to put a figure next to aircraft/tanks etc because it gives it all a sense of scale.

Hi Badder Definitely agree with all you say. I went very light with the weathering. I think I might go back to it sometime and do what you suggest. I don't present these at shows, so somtimes I will just quickly move onto yet another project! My problem is I will sometimes have more than one project going at the same time. -
A lovely 1/32 figure, belongs to a Vought Corsair I made. Link is here.

The smartphone should be fine. For me its just a case of avoiding any background clutter, provide a nice plain background, maybe a screenshot from your PC (clouds etc?), use extra lighting such as a desk lamp, dont forget to edit the image. The smartphone usually has great editing properties, such as cropping, and lighting enhancements. Just play around and experiment!

Try https://evemodeler.com/collections/all Great static grass. Colour doesn't really matter because you can airbrush colours onto to it anyway. I'm a great fan of static grass, only way to get an authentic look.

Great work, love the figures, very animated. Great sense of movement! Have thought of adding a pin wash? the details would just POP out! -
NO, I haven’t. Being a plastic kit you may not get the detail resin figures can provide. Therefore its often good practice to try and accentuate the details on the uniforms with a sharp scalpel. Eg. defining the pockets/pleats a little more. Plus if you’re interested some modellers will look at buying aftermarket details as well for added realism. Eg decals for the insignias, or even alternative heads made by Hornet for example. Resourceful modellers will alter the stances, arm positions etc. as well. Hope I haven’t just given info you didn’t want!

Amazing build. Can’t believe it’s a working model! Surely it’s too fragile for the open seas?- 45 replies

Fantastic diorama. Beautifully painted and photographed. Plus interesting to see the base being constructed with the window left for the label. -
Thanks Red5. Indeed Tommys War figures, 1/32 and fantastic resin quality. Highly recommended.
