  1. My "re-scribing kit consists of Dymo Tape but I also make fantastic use of an old metal tape measure (retractable type) cut up into various lengths. A great asset because its very plyable.
  2. Who else is wishing the year away now........................
  3. This is a super build and beautifully finished - the stencil decals are well worth the time spent applying them
  4. You might want to move this to the correct place - try the wanted or trade section in the Buy/Sell part of the forum - tell people where you are based as well.
  5. Yup the pit looks pretty good - PE is definately the way to go these days
  6. The kits fit must be exceptionally good if you were confident enough to spray the fuselage before assembley!! Great looking build so far
  7. I can only say what everyone else has so far regarding that cockpit, superb work!
  8. You post that here then tell is it took only 3 days to finish - Go away!!! Im a signed up member of the slow builders assoc so I envy (good) fast builders - thats lovely well done
  9. Should have gone to Specsavers.........
  10. I havent seen the GWH F-15 but if its accurate you will also need to make changes to the Horizonal stabs - the E model has raised seams (sorry not sure if these are strengthening plates etc) where the kit has recessed panel lines.
  11. Neither, if you can afford it go for Great Wall Hobbies "Early" 29 (they make 3 or 4) and mate you wont regret it believe me... http://modelingmadness.com/scott/mod/previews/gwh/l4814.htm
  12. Looks like across the fleet then because just checked FGR2 & FG1 images out (and present on both) - not present initially and looks like a retro fit over here
  13. I believe the FGR2s also had a small light on the drag chute door - I had a scrap one floating around the house for many years and it definately had a bulb mounted on the outside.
  14. Im going to watch in on this one - great subject choice too
  15. do you not have a brand moulded into the plastic anywhere? often on the inside of the fuselage or wings - would help
  16. the GR5 was my favourite Mk of the second generation Harriers in the Green scheme - excellently done Sir
  17. Both look really good and probably worthy of a little more time, some day light and better pics
  18. They are bolt on fuel tanks which sit against the fuselage on either side beneath the wings basically
