I have never had a problem with the AFV Club F-5s. Exactly what is bad about them?

I didn't say they were bad, I said "just as bad" meaning they suffer (in my opinion) from the same Kinetic issue of too many unecessary components leading to some fit issues especially around the rear end of the fuselage. Mine is 95% complete and Im pleased with the final outcome re shape and detail level.

I dunno. Maybe I'm better off getting the Freedom Models F-20 or the AFV F-5E?
Guess what..........the AFV F-5s are just as bad BUT with a higher RRP tag.

Yes I have and in true Kinetic style they produced a kit with too many parts put simply - I found it more of an irritation than a problem, but the finished article looks like an F-5A and to me that's the most important bit. Fantastic decal sheet, worth the money for that alone....

Does anyone know of a UK source for these? I know High Planes make some but Im struggling to find a UK source via Google - doesnt have to be High Planes just something thats better than the god awful Kinetic supplied main wheels.

As someone that has "reclaimed" many a kit over the years I appluad your enthusiasm, but as the Italeri Typhoon is such a bad representation of the real thing and Revell's is out there cheap as chips, I know where I'd be taking this project..................
