I didn't say they were bad, I said "just as bad" meaning they suffer (in my opinion) from the same Kinetic issue of too many unecessary components leading to some fit issues especially around the rear end of the fuselage. Mine is 95% complete and Im pleased with the final outcome re shape and detail level.

Kinetic 1/48 Su-33 Flanker-D
Gary West replied to Wee Beastie's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Allow me to the first to say wow! -
Yes I have and in true Kinetic style they produced a kit with too many parts put simply - I found it more of an irritation than a problem, but the finished article looks like an F-5A and to me that's the most important bit. Fantastic decal sheet, worth the money for that alone....

The A4 is possibly the most un "war like" aircraft to ever serve in the military - waaaaay to cute looking and thats a great looking build there -
10/10 that is a very fine looking build - they make a nice pair together

Does anyone know of a UK source for these? I know High Planes make some but Im struggling to find a UK source via Google - doesnt have to be High Planes just something thats better than the god awful Kinetic supplied main wheels.

1/48 Italeri Eurofighter Typhoon twin seater [Reset]
Gary West replied to Panos86's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
As someone that has "reclaimed" many a kit over the years I appluad your enthusiasm, but as the Italeri Typhoon is such a bad representation of the real thing and Revell's is out there cheap as chips, I know where I'd be taking this project.................. -

The real deal Vitor -
Beat me to it Bill - I could have sworn the fleet was but clearly not - I just looked through hundreds of RAF J images and found tons of ZE354 in standard, but I also thought I saw ZE364 in a couple- clearly not!
