    Tornado GR.4 1:48

Going by the instructions and another set of sprue pics shown here, there are none
  2. It may still be a new tool since the Italeri/ Revell tooling is already being packed in box 7250 "Su-32FN" for some years now. Of course, that's no guarantee whatsoever...
  3. Over the years I've built an Italeri ADV and after the Hobby Boss kit came online I bought one of those to use as parts donor (wings with flaps deployed and maybe a couple of other small items) for a further Italeri example. If I had to choose only one kit it would be Italeri. For Hobby Boss issues see here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/48891-hobby-boss-tornado-f3-i-hate-to-be-the-bearer-of-bad-news-but/
  4. I'd expect (as per the 'new' 1/72 Trumpeter J-20) this to be an updated tooling at least if not a new one straight away. It has a different product no. than the 'old' Z-10 (87260 vs. 87253).
  5. Hi guys, I've recently had Falcon 10 MER "101" of the French Navy drop by for an overnight stay where I work. As luck would have it, the dedicated Hasegawa box (VT105) is in my stash and I'm thinking to start gluing some plastic. Now to the question: are there any decals out there to depict the current markings of the "10 MER"? https://img.planespotters.net/photo/312000/original/101-marine-nationale-french-navy-dassault-falcon-10mer_PlanespottersNet_312211.jpg Note above the rounded "101" characters, the white "FALCON 10 MER" at the base of the fin and the 100 Years anniversary artwork, as opposed to what the kit decals offer: http://fighters.forumactif.com/t62555-falcon-10-hasegawa-1-48 Any tips (and tricks ) shared would be much appreciated. Cheers, Niki P.S.: I've taken notice of the Syhart 48-024 sheet (OOP and nowhere to be found ) and an option in Revell's 04217 box. These don't offer the three items I have mentioned earlier, however (well, actually, round numbers are there, but not "101" ).
  6. A new decal sheet by Authentic Decal [7272] in 1/72 for the Su-34 - "Syrian Ghost". (courtesy of Hobbyterra) http://hobbyterra.com/product/decal-1-72-for-su-34-fullback-syrian-ghost-authentic-decal-7272.html?utm_source=email&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=02-12-2015
  7. The tugs and buses are pretty much western stuff, so quite handy for any airport scene. I would like them both, but I am having a real hard time getting friendly with those prices... I managed to get a Christmas sale deal last year and grabbed the airstairs for about 20 Euros though.
  8. Nicely weathered under the Mediterranean sun (and sand): http://www.bbc.com/russian/international/2015/10/151008_russia_syria_what_do_we_know http://www.tvc.ru/news/show/id/77812
  9. I'll post this here, as I've just stumbled across it and the topic seems more fitting than opening a separate one. 1/144 Brassica TATRA 815 TPL http://brassicamodels.com/home/kits-stavebnice-1144/tatra-815-tpl/# If you're looking for something to tow your CSA Tupolevs and Ilyushins or are just modelling some Czech airport scene, maybe this one's for you http://www.tatra-club.com/clanek/letistni-tahace-znacky-tatra-115
  10. Pierre, From looking at the first photo, there's no way I wouldn't have said that this was the Eduard 1/48 kit Cheers, Niki
  11. Unbelievable!... Man, did they have rudder pedals?
  12. Tony, Thanks a lot for your input! I was thinking about dismantling an Academy F-16 which will have to donate it's pylons anyway to a Tamiya 'no weapons'-fellow. I am really glad to hear that there is enough space in the T-50 kit to accommodate the F-16 parts. Thanks again, Niki P.S.: do you perhaps care to share a couple of pics showing the work you've done? Have you augmented the kit's seats or have you used something else?
  13. Hi guys, I stayed clear of this kit for a good while, mainly because of the missing LG issue. However, I recently saw some close-up shots of the plastic parts and they really are very nicely detailed. This coupled with the possibility of acquiring the kit at a reasonable price led me to my asking you this: Is the landing gear on the real thing a 1/1 copy of the F-16 gear? Or are there different dimensions at play? Has anyone else thought about robbing an F-16 kit of its landing gear and sticking it to the T-50? Cheers, Niki
  14. Thanks, Andrew! I'll see then that I don't spend all my Christmas budget in December
  15. Did they mention anything about that Embraer passenger jet? Wasn't it supposed to be released end of 2015?
  16. Mathias, you make your 48th scale models look lifelike and the 72nd scale ones look... well, 48th scale! Great painting, weathering and photographing skills! Gruß, Niki
  17. Done and also went about very sparingly with my other allocated votes so as to give this one the best of chances to succeed
  18. Hey JP, Thanks for posting this and congrats on a nice build! Seems like the cockpit windows part may be the cause of some trouble but the decals look to have laid down beautifully which gives me high hopes - I have the same combo (Zevzda SSJ and Revaro UTAir decals) awaiting its turn on the production line Cheers, Niki
  19. Dave, Take a look at The Rumourmonger section of the forum. We got there an extensive chat about the Valom 101's: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234979433-172-f-101a-rf-101c-voodoo-from-valom/ Cheers, Niki
  20. Thanks! I was hoping you could shed a light on where you got your yellow lightning(s) for the tail. Everything else seems indeed quite generic.
  21. David, I really think those are the best two looking RV MiGs I've seen so far! Myself, I have a couple of unsolvable issues with the RV MiG-21 (I cannot get over the way too wide/ thick windshield frames and other stuff), but you made everything looking right Really sorry about the mishap with the Croatian bird! I can literally feel the pain of taking so much care with masking and painting and then... Cheers, Niki
  22. Lovely build! I've been wishing to build one of the Big Eye escorts for some time now. What decals did you use, please?
  23. Many thanks for that In-Box review, Jorge! I am somewhat disappointed but the fault lies mostly with me for my expectations were quite high. But would I prefer no kit at all over one displaying lacks in some areas (Jorge has hinted at them)?! No. I shall see that I can grab a deal on one example.
