  1. Have I missed something? According to Scale mates (I know the database is not infallible) but Eduard used the ADV as their base kit.
  2. Good morning ladies and gents, Two questions regarding Eduard's 1/48 Tornado. 1. Which Revell kit did they use as the base kit? 2. Why the F.3 ADV (as reported on Scale Mates), not the GR.4? Seasons Greetings to all. Regards Stephen
  3. Happy to be corrected, but I believe PSC are Polish. To the best of my knowledge, they produced two kits, both in 1/72
  4. 1/72 Russian Sukhois. Would it be correct to assume that "Planes" is a range, not a specific company?
  5. Good evening Ladies and Gents, Anybody owned/built a vacform kit manufactured by Planes? Stephen
  6. Hi Dan, Have been reading a few reviews on the new Tamiya release and this issue seems to come up time and time again. What I don't understand is how/why people pass judgment on a kit based on photos and/or videos. I realize in this day and age that people are expecting a lot more "accurate" bang for their buck, but just because the opening on the cockpit happens to be two scale inches too long, the manufacture has not giving us the option of dropped flaps and/or slats or the colour call out happens to be 36256 when it should be 36257 aren't reasons to condemn it to "fatally flawed" hall of shame. After all, isn't that what modeling is all about? Let's see some modeling skills at work At the risk if conjuring the likes of Mike V, let's wait till the kit is released, and let people buy/build according to their budget and skill level All the best Stephen
  7. Hi Zaggy, Just curious about the nose and other small issues. Could you please elaborate? Regards Stephen
  8. Good evening ladies and gents, Am seeking a copy of the instruction booklet and paint guide as contained in the Bespoke Enamel Paint Package released by Cammet Ltd. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Stephen
  9. Good evening ladies and gents, Am seeking information concerning the "reconstruction" of the fwd fuselage of the 1/48 Testors SR-71. The article was posted approximately twelve months ago and the author scratch built the various nose configurations i.e.: ASARS and OBC/SLR Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. TIA Stephen
