  1. Probably a training approach to Milton Keynes Hospital
  2. Hi Paul. Most of the HC2's now have a mid-green interior to the cabin (cpsound proofing), no longer grey as on the HC1's.
  3. Andrew, Thanks for the update - looking forward to seeing how you get on once you've finished the FAA stuff. Ian
  4. Muzz, you're correct - the last HC1 flight was in Dec 12. The one you saw was most likely returning to Leeming from Oban.
  5. Bill, I also just stumbled across this thread - truly excelent work. Hope your back's on the mend.
  6. Iain, Spence, Excellent- thanks - a picture paints a thousand words and all that... Ian
  7. Very nice indeed. How did you do the weathering on the nose?
  8. Spence, I got my copy in the post last week. Generally a great read - just one point if I may? The article on the ZM Skyraider makes several references to photos that aren't actually included (eg shots of oil staining on the underside of the fuselage); might be worth checking for inconsistencies like this for the next issue. Overall though, great mag!
  9. Rob, you have no idea how chilly it was up there!
  10. Nice finish. I'm at the gluing and sanding stage myself. Like you say, pleasantly surprised with the fit.
  11. Thanks Rick. I had heard that over-thinning made it easier to apply mottling - suspect I've just taken it a bit too far!
  12. Hi, Just wondered if anyone else has experienced separation problems when using xtracrylix? I've been using RLM02 with about 70% thinner (also xtracrylix), and the light pigment beads up on the inside of the colour cup causing the paint to spray much darker than usual. Any ideas appreciated!
