  1. I'd love to see these decals released in 1/144th, if not all the subjects, then a good few Hopefully the Revell Hunter will get a re-release, plus all the lovely Retrokit Hunter bits available Ooooh...the possibilities
  2. $400!! Sold mine recently for £25 posted! Hmmm....maybe I boo-boo'd Was a nice kit, all the scroll work was chromed. Got mine from Comet Miniatures at Telford a few years back
  3. Prime it with Halfords primer, then wet sand it back using 1000grit paper. When you reach metal, most of the pits should be filled, what still remain, use Milliput or Squadron, then repeat. For a 1/144th C47, look for the Roden kit, or the Minicraft one
  4. Nah...it's the Falklands special 1/48th Black Buck set....a Vulcan and Victor in one box....it's true....'the voices told me'
  5. There was a kit available, I had one and sold it on here. Think it was by Wave and 1/24 scale
  6. If the trailing edge is complete, but just bent, try flat nosed pliers, or a hard flat surface and some gentle thumb pressure. White metal used in wargames models is quite forgiving if you are gentle. As for the pitted surface, either milliput, which I have used previously heavily thinned with water to fill small hole, or even Squadron White putty Thick acrylic paint can work to fill small holes and dries quickly
  7. Superb pics. I never seem to have the camera to hand when we get low Sea Kings over practicing with the local Mountain Rescue. Very inspiring.......now where did I put my Sweet Sea King??
  8. According to Flight Radar 24 it's at 600ft and approaching Middlesborough at 1pm today(3rd Sept)
  9. My sources( voices in my head!) have 100% confirmed that after the Shackleton kit is released( covering all variants and all marking options) Airfix are starting work on their 35 year anniversary of the Falklands range. This will include a 48th Vulcan and Victor in a double boxing( only available that way) and a limited edition 'Black Buck Special' containing kits of all the aircraft that took part in the Black Buck raid, in 1/48th. It's all true.....the voices told me so!
  10. Someone told me, that someone told them, that they overheard a phonecall through a closed door that it's the start of a 1/144th range of British bombers. Or did I just imagine it?
  11. Lovely work, seatbelts are great! If you don't want the cats, i've a use for them( don't ask!) Keep the 144th stuff coming
  12. Seem to remember this conversion(with drawings) in an Airfix Magazine Guide...Military Vehicles?
  13. Operation 'Swap weekend working to get to see two Lancs' is underway. Mate sent me text and picture updates yesterday from Coningsby, git! If I still lived in Lincs, I'd have been there all day!
  14. Fingers crossed for Ayr, if the weather holds out( and I can get my weekend off!)
  15. Keep watching....... I might be working on a couple of new ones too........ Love the Darth Banana, great finish
  16. This same seller is the one that sold me a resin 144th Nimrod, which looked very similar to another manufacturers one....but quite poorly cast and covered in bubbles. He has also listed other 144th aircraft which 'seem' to be very similar to built up vacforms that are then moulded.....or resin kits that 'clone themselves' I would think this is related to the Aeroclub one in some way!
  17. Great work, especially considering how soft the detail is on the mouldings We need a new 144th sea King kit!
  18. Looking good, have to dig mine out at somepoint. Could do with a resin update set for these models!
  19. Cheers all, thanks for the comments Onwards to next project(after relaying the patio!)
