  8. Built straight from the box(bag) Span is about 7cm Nothing added, only thing I would change would be the pitot tube. Looking forward to building a couple more Cockpit could do with a bit more detail, that's in hand though Painted with Halfords Ford Arctic silver, S'n'J polishing powder, VallejoAir metallics brush painted on All comments welcome
  9. Sweet, Platz and Eduard(MiG 15 and 21, Spit, apart from no cockpit!) in 1/144th
  10. If you're looking to cast in resin, give MDC/Grey Matter a call. A lot of people use them and there quality is second to none. There are companies out there that make masters, but they charge a lot! I make some masters in 1/144th for cockpits, bomb bays etc and have made masters for 1/144th armour, but not got the time these days. I had to master a 1/144th Bucanneer, but real life got in the way! If I find any contacts etc, i'll drop you a line
  11. Well, after showing my seat I was persuaded to join this group build! Here's the starter kit, seat has been scratchbuilt Plans to scratchbuild the cockpit have so far been delayed by having to go to college for a week for my work! Other work will include more detail in general, but pics will follow!
  12. I've only got about 8 stashed away, along with Flightline small belly tank conversion and Mike Grant decals. Hoping for a two seat conversion...........as for Hunters........
  13. Nice kit, got mine started, gone detailing daft with it. Needs better detail on tailpipes, slots cut in wings and nose guns filled at least. Decals for this would be great! Hand painting could be an option Thinking of doing mine as shark mouthed 5 sqn
  14. Already one in 48th, from Tamiya no less!! Don't be greedy! 1/144th needs kits like this JBr decals already has a Korean War decal sheet available Itching to get my 2 copies of this, so I can get building! Apparently they were pre-production mouldings, earliest release date looks like Dec
  15. Also had 1/144th MiG 15 as 'entry day' kits Apparently they were from pre-production mouldings and only 1000 available Got 2 coming to me, so will post details when they arrive
  16. Started work on a Revell 1/144th Lightning F6, cockpit built, vents/scoops added, and ejector seat built. Plasticard, stretched sprue, fine wire, Tamiya masking tape, eye strain( despite Optivisor ) and 3 headaches later here it is. Sods Law says you'll hardly see it when in cockpit....but at least I did it!! Overall height is about 7.5mm
