    Not seen an A400 Atlas overhead, until this week! Saw one heading north on Tuesday, just had another over Striling at 5000ft heading west. According to FR24 its going from Brize to Humberside, via Aberdeen, now at 2000ft near Glasgow ZM419 apparently

    3 Chinooks, heading north at about 1500ft east of Stirling. A rare treat these days!

    That's obviously fake: 1) the panel lines aren't black 2) the panels aree monotone, all panels fade in the centre 3) no soot trails from the guns over the wings 4)tyres aren't flat 5) crowbar's wrong colour 😋

    Did anyone get any pics of the 144th.co.uk Lightning F1, F3, T4 and T5 at Telford? Also a huge decal sheet was promised. Fingers crossed

    Heard a helicopter this afternoon, struggled to see it. Got a glimpse of RAF Puma at about 250ft heading west towards Stirling. Heard there are flights for Air Cadets being made from Leuchars, maybe one of these?

    Was doing similar over Stirling/Alloa/hillfoots on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th, was D-FIBE, white and red. Be interested to see whatever results they come up with

    Sculpted these for Retrokit, picked up castings at Scottish Nationals. Battle of Banana and Luft banana. Next job is a Meng Spitfire to give Battle of Banana something to fly!

    Hasegawa F16 Eggplane, Retrokit cockpit and exhaust,decals by TwoBobs Amazed still that there is so much aftermarket for eggplanes! White is Halfords primer,orange is Hataka,hand painted. Lacquer is Halfords matt, works a treat BUT...make sure you put klear over your decals...... that's why there are wrinkles in the USAF ! Dropped this more times than I care to remember, tricky little thing to hold.

    Built for a RAF 100th anniversary group build. revel kit, from box, Xtradecal markings. Handpainted using Humbrol. Kit is fantastic, no filler, fell together in no time.

    Aeroclub 1/144th Mosquito B35, built for a group build on Kampfgruppe 144. Represents B35 of 139 sqn RAF Hemswell. Kit has cockpit added, figures converted from Preiser groundcrew figures. Nacelles and wings have a few additions, main u/c doors are milliput. Base is temporary as I've run out of clear rod! Hand painted using Hataka (MSG) and Vallejo air ( NATO black) Weathered using watercolour pencils

    RAF Puma, overall green, at about 2000ft in a clear blue sky flying W-E alog the Ochil hills. A rare treat these days!

    Finally (!) dug out my photos that I took at Cranwell of XV408. The blue used was slightly lighter than roundel blue, this can be seen on one of the photos(will try and post pic later) Other possibility is that it was roundel blue, it faded slightly and the roundel was repainted? The finish is noticeably satin with slightly darker 'lines' around the panels(just like modellers like them!) Plus I will be getting the Airfix FGR2 to make when it's released, XV408 is one of the options

    Thank you Base will get replaced, but frame was only one I had to hand ( plus it fits in my display cabinet!) May do a step by step for the figures if there is interest. Only trouble is, it will make everybody realise how disorganised and prone to tinkering I am!

    Finally got the base built and figures painted. Figures are from W^D models, superd 1/72 figures for WW1. So nice, I bought more WW1 figures just to paint and put on mini dioramas. All painted with Vallejo acrylics and inks
