  1. I have had good luck spraying Tamiya and Gunze glosses. I thin them with Gunze levelling thinner until they give me a smooth finish I spray slightly wet coats with my Paasche H1 airbrush. Just to gild the lily I finish with a light coat of pure thinner. this levels out the gloss coat Hope this helps. George

    Decal silvering

    I use Gunze or Tamiya gloss over the paint trying to get a high gloss. I find the higher the gloss the better. Apply decals using either Gunze, Tamiya or Micro scale systems to seat decals. Another coat of gloss over decals and finally a flat coat. I still have Testors dull coat which is my favorite but any flat should do. I hope this helps. George
