If you can afford it, do what I did and get a cheap airbrush to try. They can be bought for as little as £20 and some can perform quite reasonably. I came back to modelling after 20 years and was surprised how much the hobby had changed with regards to tools, methods etc and as such I am here on a big learning curve, but so far I have learned lots. Welcome on-board and i'm sure your skills will just get better and better, despite the supply issue.
