Hi Roy I’ve read your build all the way and have found it very useful with my build alongside the same dvd you’ve used. I'm just in the process of doing the roof on the Rolls and really like the way you have managed to get yours to fold. from the photos you’ve put up you can’t really see the connections of the side rails. could you please put some close up photos of the connections of the side rails as I would like to see how you’ve done them. Hi im looking to light some car models in future and am looking for ideas. I want to light with led's and low voltage maybe 3v or 4.5v, I also want to add independent flashing indicators. be very grateful if anybody could give me advice/diagrams or point me in the right direction. many thanks Bap

Hi Roy do you think you will be able to get the brakes to work via the brake pedal? it is supposed to be quite a task because of all the linkages involved. not that it would be a real asdvantage.

Hi Roy looks like your really making good progress with the kit. what was the colour code for the saffron yellow you ended up getting?

Hi Roy I have built the italeri model of the same car and found that the Revell Lufthansa Yellow is a very good colour match for the saffron. I have also got a can of spray of an auto colour that is close match but as I'm out and about I can't tell you at this moment in time which one it is. As soon as I get home I'll dig it out and let you know. If you send me your email address I can send photo of my completed italeri model so that you can see the colour. Bap

I started the same kit a couple of years ago and unfortunately put it aside and continued with other projects. After seeing your posts it has prompted me to dig it up again. So hopefully will get back into finishing the build. Reference the chrome/ aluminium parts I would recommend using Alclad.
