  1. Amazing plane , and amazing Build. some years ago i have in my hands the night fighter version , and because i am a stupid i let it go. Congratulations !
  2. if i understand right , you are beginning with airbrush. let me tell you that you are in the good way. a little suggestion , for future jobs , in the cabin , you can give a "wash" with very diluted oil paint , This hides and softens the brush paint in the small parts and gives a more realistic overall appearance. the mk I is probably my favorite Spit , i"ll follow your progres. years ago , i made an mk1 , 1:72 from airfix , but the molds of the 60´s.......a very head´s pain..... this look too much better. ps : i can´t believe the price of kits , see in the box 9.99 pounds , they are about.....12 us dollars..... the same kit in Argentina has a price equivalent to 40 🥲
  3. interesting plane. very nice job in the cockpit
  4. Good morning beautiful People !! (it's not noon here yet) After almost 4 years since my last model, (when the covid pandemic started, the first 2 months I spent putting together backlogged models, I have a travel agency and there was really no way to work, when I reached 2 months locked up at home I had I had to do different jobs to survive, until at the end of 2021 I was able to reopen my travel agency) I took courage to start again, and a good part of that was re-entering this forum and being infected by the beautiful work that everyone does here. I have been a modeller (and scout) since I was 8 years old, a little over a month ago it was my 48th birthday, and I thought, what better way to celebrate 40 years of plastic than by resuming this beautiful habit? All my life I built models in 1:72, with rare exceptions, in 2016 I had already moved to 48 scale, partly out of taste and partly because of vision...hahahaha My vision got a lot worse during the pandemic, now I use glasses for the PC and reading, not much, 0.5, but when I look closely at the models it becomes a little complicated, but nothing I won't get used to. Anyway, recently I saw the Apple TV series masters of the air, and it made me want to build a b 17. I wanted to build one of the bloody 100th, but the decals are somewhat difficult to find in Argentina. So for now we're going with a Revogram classic, the b17 g "Chow Hound", my idea is to put it together without too many additions, to get back to it. If I see that the result is good, I would like to build another one, that one from the 100th, with a lot of battle damage and flak punishment. but slowly, 4 years without touching an airbrush is a long time..... the model: es GIGANTE !!! el contenido : fotos del avion original : a colored one, you can see the peelings ? ( in spanish is DESCASCARADOS...) in the paint : some generic : let's start..... oops, damn Pablo from 4 years ago, you left the airbrushes without cleaning properly....: Well, now clean, a coat of shiny black on the inside, the idea is to metallic, whenever I do metallics I use a shiny black base. and then paint whatever is painted on top of the metallic, I like to follow the order as if starting from the metal to the following layers, it always seemed more realistic to me. That's all for now, tonight I'm going on vacation to the beach in Argentina for a few days (we have Easter + the holiday on April 2, it's a 6-day break, we have to take advantage of it!!) Everyone have a great week. - As allways , excuse my english-
  5. Uoooou , uoooooouuuuuuu , your scratch skill is god´s level. i love creative solutions , and you made it all. i´m triying to start a b17G too , but in 48. is really an inspiration see how you are taking this " like a kid to the school" ( argentine expression , maybe lost in translation) i´ll keep following and marveling your build 🫶
  6. You are making a fine work ! its a great challenge to change the panels , but the result is extremely nice. i'll keep on following your progress. -excuse my english-
  7. I really like your job. the ww2 japanese fighters give the oportunity of a heavily wheatering , and it looks in a very good way. very nice ! - excuse my english-
  8. A very nice Job , i make this same plane some years ago ( not exactly , was the 2A- 214, from the revell kit. at the time to made wheatering , have in mind that the Argentine Corsairs , usually operates from the old carrier " ARA independencia" or the naval base in Punta Indio. they usually shows a heavy wheatering. the "day version" you are making , is very important to my family , mi mother allways tell me that in the 60´s they look them past in the beach , ( the hollidays house of my family is in the middle of the air route from punta indio to punta alta , 2 navy bases) and the 2 a 214 fall in the sea , at 200 meters from the beach in the 60´s , so , for a few years parts of them come from the sea , until the 80´s. very nice job , again - sorry for my english-
  9. Very interesting , i have the same model on te work table , and everyday try to start..... my last model build was on 2020 , in the middle of covid. But seeing you , i am takin courage to do it. I'll follow your work to see if i finally start. thanks for sharing !! - excuse my english , please....
  10. Well, thank you very much for your comment, it was really a pleasure to assemble and modify, this excellent kit hasegawa. I'll never be able to thank you enough friend that made me Misa's figure, which gave the touch I was looking to the whole scene. Regarding the 30th anniversary bluray have it and is an excellent thing. thank you for spending!
  11. Thank you very much! the inscription "Prometheus" to be tight going in the rudder and should not be gerwalk mode. was a small license that I take.
  12. Gerwalk from Vf1-j Hasegawa 1:48 ( modified scratching) Step by step : http://kalkin.foros.ws/t15413/vf1j-gerwalk-148-todo-listo-/ Personally, it's the model I always wanted to build. Since I started to see Robotech in my childhood and even more to discover the true Macross happens cloth (at least for MY taste) Before pictures, I leave something to listen: Macross fans: Robotech fans : and for all, the best song of movie ever : Enough of melancholy mellow, let's the important thing (I promise better pictures, the "studio" outgrown me): subir fotos gratis
  13. I'm glad to show my last finished job : Mitsubishi Zero type 52 it's an easy hobby boss. pics are a mix with & without flash imagenes gratis
