  1. Another final day of the GB- finish for me . Probably these pics look so horrible on a larger screen than my phone and I need to remove them, but here I go anyway... Messerschmitt Bf 1-TEN E Trop, 8./ZG 26, Libya. Another heavy MTO- themed year for me... Eduard Profipack- edition kit in 1:72 Airfix and Eduard decals Humbrol enamels brushed on A nice kit but a disappointing finish. I am not PE compatible and this was the first AND the last try for me - I have better things to do while building these kits. Yep, it's RLM 78, with one drop tank in RLM 65 and the other in RLM 76. Thanks to Black Knight and Enzo Matrix for running the show! Best regards, V-P
  2. I like the songs that came before I was born the most - France Gall etc. performing. Pure since ABBA came and won.
  3. Sorry? Britmodeller is not just a wingy thing forum as far as I know, and we better keep it that way! The Tunisgrad Tiger is an excellent choice, sir! V-P
  4. @Badder well of course you're welcome! You know we GB hosts beg, bribe and (sometimes) threat people to sign in on a GB proposal, and in November things - and hosts - get even more nasty, as the BMGBMASSIVE is being lured to actually vote for the proposals! It's here now, up and running so hop in and have fun . V-P
  5. Nope, Zvezda B-2 has that one too. It´s a very nice kit and should not be overlooked if one is shopping for a Stuka. V-P
  6. I have in my stash the Revegawa H-6 that looks very nice too, but I do envy those torpedoes you get from Airfix! Should I buy another Heinkel that'll be this one. V-P
  7. Moi aussi. Which in Finnish means "hello, Australian".
  8. Sorry to crash back at this stage of the GB... But I still believe this will be finished by next sunday Secret Messerschmitt flying wing- project: Joined together in an IKEA- build? I'm awfully clumsy with the photo etch. I don't care .V-P
  9. Fondling all those boxes and aftermarket stuff in my very own hands sure beats clicking some icons at a webshop
  10. Oh woe is me... Instead of building anything today I visited another not local but friendly hobby shop, coming home with Eduard masks for the B-25, Ju 88 and Kittyhawk... Plus an MPM A-20 Havoc, a specific USAAF "MTO boxing" - guess the rest? V-P
  11. Oh no, no, no, it's a Britmodeller MTO GB - for modellers, by modellers - not in any way mine or any person at all! V-P
  12. Dennis, maybe this will help you pick a subject? https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=184308 No North Africa or Malta, but northern Italy, that'd be ok per the GB rules! V-P
  13. Can't say those before me hadn't already taken words out of my mouth. Well... In that case there's more room for V-P
  14. What a busy MTO summer indeed! In this GB I plan to build a Storch from North Africa or Sicily... And a Med fleet Seafire in the Carriers GB, an MTO USAAF B-25 in the STGB - plus the Libyan based Bf one-TEN I have less than week to finish! V-P Edit: add a Blitzbuild Stuka to this list
  15. Can't get anything heavier in this GB Stix, this is The Heaviest one! Welcome and enjoy the build like we all do V-P
  16. Welcome! The first MTO GB was mighty good one, let's follow its spirit! Here are some rules we should follow again: When: from 00:01am on Saturday the 5th of May to 23:59pm on the Sunday 26th of August 2018. Read: 5.5.-26.8.2018 Host: vppelt68 (V-P), I'll be here to provide guidance and support for each entry and of course I'll be participating. WIP thread: All builds must have a work in progress thread. Multiple builds in one thread: Allowed No trading: Any parts/decals/kits etc that you want to buy or sell MUST be posted in the Buy/Sell area only, not here in the GB forum. No ready-mades: Entries must be under 25% complete EXCEPT regarding builds started but unfinished/stalled in the original MTO GB. They are eligible to be finished here. Regard this as a GB specific KUTA too! Poll: There will be a poll when the GB concludes for all the completed models. Please don't canvas for votes. No prizes though but there's always the glory! Eligible builds: Anything that was used in or supporting operations of war from 1.9.1939 to 8.5.1945 below the Alps and above the equator, from the Gibraltar to Iraq, sea, air or land, all scales and materials. Recommended aspects: Having fun! Regards, V-P, helped by Enzo & the Britmodeller crew
  17. This is the Britmodeller, which means your very first post would qualify you to do all the possible stunts here, except buy and sell. No ranks or pecking orders V-P
  18. Yes I knew I was on the list - but tell me what´s a Simple Set? No decals at all? V-P
  19. Just giving this one a bump... Because the Special Hobby Kittyhawk kit I just bought is SO sweet!
  20. Thanks, Patrice! That new Xtradecal sheet does have some rather spectalucar options... V-P
