  1. Just brilliant Derek, thanks for sharing. Jean
  2. Hi Derek, I am truly awe-struck by these patterns of yours. This is the first time I've seen anything completed by you - not intended as a dig..well, not really . But seriously, if you're spending most of your time producing gems like this one, no wonder the Spit, Phantom et al are taking a back seat. At some point an illustrated tutorial would be a real treat, even if it can't be at the other place for reasons of scale. Yours in admiration, Jean
  3. I was wondering why you weren't posting this build on LSP as well when I realised all this incredible scratchbuilding is in 1/48 scale. Unreal!!!
  4. Ah Phil, It's now official, you are my hero. Seriously, among a number of seriously impressive scratchbuilds going on around the web, this one has got to be my favourite. It just looks so right! Best, Jean
  5. Quite simply astounding! A worthy 72nd scale counterpart to Phil's 48 scale masterpiece.
  6. Very fine work all round, and the paint job is particularly convincing. I hope to see more of your models here soon.
  7. You, sir, are insanely talented!!! What a build!
  8. I can only echo that! What fabulous scratchbuiding!
  9. That says it all. To answer your question, I've been working (sporadically) on my Spit for one and a half years with precious little to show for it. If your build is never ending, mine gives a glimpse of the meaning of eternity. Jean
  10. I'm with Houston. You're not going to relegate that fine work to the back of the display cabinet. Put it aside for a couple of weeks, then come back to it, remove the wing and fix the problem. YOU CAN DO IT.
