  1. Lmao imagine binning a kit because it isn't perfect honestly why bother buying in the first place!!! I've bought two and am using the Airfix 420 engines if I can work out (finally) how to upload pics on here I'll show how I'm getting on over the coming weeks it won't be perfect ! but it will look like a model of the real plane (I hope!!!)
  2. It was an airline gimmick four B737 a/c were painted up 2 500 2 400 for the launch of the website Currently have A320 EI-FCC painted as a socialjet!!!t in all white with green logo's because they have launched on twitter and facebook Aer Lingus are using wet leased Finnair via Air Contractors B757 a/c later this year for services from Shannon to U.S.will be interesting to see what c/s is used on these a/c the freed up A330 will relaunch services to San Francisco from Dublin early next year.
  3. Saw this beast @ Duxford on the Saturday it was very very impressive in clean configuration pass before departing so quiet too
  4. OK guys it seems this kit is either a step in the right direction or its not I'm confused are we saying don't buy it, or is it that it needs extra work but a reasonable replica can be made with a bit of effort? Secondly are Roden kits not limited run in the first place so you know what to expect? Personally I'm glad to see an injection moulded kit even if it has faults and am hoping it moves on to a B720B release sooner rather than later
  5. Brilliant build well done two excellent looking models . Always thought the 146 was a good looking plane your models really capture the look of the a/c well
  6. Great news finally some common sense protection rather than scrapping well done to all concerned in making this happen

  10. Hi all I attended both days with my nephew having travelled from Medway we got bus from Swindon train station & we were both impressed by Stagecoach's handling of bus transfers and the new quicker entrance at the Red gate. Queues were much shorter this year! The flying displays were excellent both days especially the Spartan and Italian EF2000 Mig29 Red Bull B-25 Chinook Dutch combo Vulcan & A400 etc. The wingwalkers do leave me cold but a lot of kids and families around us thought the were great so I guess there is a demand for different aircraft at all shows Although the static line up wasnt great there were some gems Like the Canberra Connie AN-2 & for us the opportunity to look inside our Casa 235 big thanks to all the lads from 103 Squadron . I think it does represent value for money even without the USAF but the service centre concept needs tweaking We are both Looking forward to next year
