1/72 - Sikorsky S-61L/N by DreamModel - box art - in project ?
Team Aer Lingus replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
Any chance of some more info on this max sheet? I'd be interested in learning more? When I was working at DUB the The CHC S-61 Coastguard helicopters often used Hangar 3 at Dub overnight, my crew and I used to nosey about chatting to the techs helped passed the time. regards Eamonn -

Another beauty Tony but then we expect nothing less this thread has been a revelation so much info & a lot of fun too she looks great well done I'm off to start another Seafire Controversy what colour are the Irish ones really? but I will leave that until after Christmas for everyone's sake it's been a bad enough year already 😆 Glad Airfix acknowledged your contribution & if the rumours are true and it is two seaters next year look forward to watching you put them together too. Have a Merry safe peaceful Christmas regards Eamonn -

New 1/72nd Airfix Spitfire Mk.Vc
Team Aer Lingus replied to tonyot's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Cheers Tony I don't have the max sheet currently or a Seafire III but the hunt has begun 😆, I've always had a soft spot for the SF-260 but back to your build it's been a real eye opener the info you get on here very impressive sorry for the the thread drift but I had to open the can of worms on the cheap Seafire conversion. Is this the best Airfix 72nd scale Spitfire?or is there room for improvement ? regards As always Eamonn -

New 1/72nd Airfix Spitfire Mk.Vc
Team Aer Lingus replied to tonyot's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
The price of the High planes one on the second hand market is excessive the sword one is included in a box set of five not separately, which is a shame and costs a lot more than this new Airfix mold. I was asking a simple question about converting it as Tony is without a doubt the expert on Spits. This build has been a real eye opener regarding info on the different marks of Spits/Seafires Thanks for the info Graham regards Eamonn -
Nice information gents you learn something new every on here I'd no intention to clutter Tony's outstanding WIP, it was a simple question as he is the go to man having build many spitfires and Irish seafires in the past. regards Eamonn
