  1. thanks Rich, you wouldn't happen to still have the molds would you, that you could cast another set from? cheers Gordon
  2. Thanks Ashley, doesnt show as a 3 in 1 kit on box only 2/1 but the stock version parts are there and offered in the instructions, now all I have to do for the charger is make a loose hub cap and find 15 inch 5 spoke alloys for the Mustang, hopefully the one I found will come with a choice too Gordon
  3. Hi guys, can anyone suggest or help with sets of wheels and tyres,I am looking for 1/25th scale steel wheels with hub caps for a 68 Dodge Charger and 15 inch 5 spoke Mag alloys for a 68 Mustang both Revell kits, youve probably guessed that its the Bullitt cars I want to build, any help would be much appreciated as I'm not clued up on after markets stuff for car kits being a sci-fi/real space modeler thanks in advance Gordon
  4. Hi,can anyone help with a manufacturer of 32nd scale decals suitable for a Jordanian Hawker Hunter a couple of the guys at IPMS Glasgow have said there were decals but couldn't remember manufacturer I've tried Hannants but nothing showing up thanks Gordon
  5. Thanks AV8Fan thats a great help couldn't save the pics so bookmarked the page.I'll pick up or make up decals from else where, aftermarket source or from spares I may commit sacrilage and and just do it fro 633 Squadron my pals favorite film from who's collection I got this cheers, Gordon
  6. Hi,I recently was given a Mosquito kit and thought it vwas the B Mk XVI/PR XVI as stated on the box but its the MK VI fighter bomber in the wrong box,it came from someone elses stash/collection,I'm looking for the instructions for the Mk VI if any one can help, cheers, Gordon
  7. I've watched and I've waited.I haven't made comments or posts until now,big announcement for Telford etc was supposed to be big kit, possibly an early jet,we supposed a Vampire,a Meteor,we hoped a Lightning, the Airfix stable is lacking in Axis aircraft in the large(24th)scale and using the scanning tech they are now boasting.....whats wrong with an ME 262,all right the axis started it and they had the right ideas and we developed it but if you want early jet(thats recognised the whittle)then best to start with the 262,yup I'd like the lightning, gnat, etc but the German stuff say's it all if your into early jets and rocketry, cheers. Gordon
  8. Thanks for the input,I believe it was the warbird training centre that he got a shot of this one, cheers,Gordon
  9. Hi guys, need some help identifying colours as its not in my usual comfort zone,I have been asked to build a Mig 15 trainer and paint it the same as the one in the pics,I have no idea of russian colours if it is correct or not doesn't matter my friend wants a memento for his friend as he has flown it and these pics are all the reference I have to go on,numbers for code is not a problem I can get that from spares at club/friends just the colours, don't know if its grey underneath either or light blue, thanks in advance for any help you can offer, cheers,Gordon
  10. Hi Poppa like all modelers thats the tip of the iceberg/stash,not enough time on the planet to build let alone display what I have and still buying,if the wife makes a funeral pyre of my collection and me(just like good old Darth Vader...lol)it wont just be seen by the guys up in the ISS,the sky will be blackened as it was when Krakatoa blue its top(and the wife's close to that now...lol)half the problem is having so much you don't know where to start and when you do you spot something else to do so 40 models and a couple of weeks later nothing half finished/half started and a new one hits the shelf,my main is sci-fi and real space, then medieval Japan so I have a lot of samurai figures in various scales, torpedo boats I have in 72 and 35th scales, classic 60's Aurora monsters tv/film related and super heroes(these are all built)and then anything I like the look of wether its afv or figure or ship, last ship I bought was the Black Swan by zvedsa(the Black Pearl without the figure head)I am in the process of sculpting the proper figure head to make her the Black Pearl/Wicked Wench, never understood that as she is holding/releasing a dove so there is nothing wicked about that!did try and get a loan of a figure head from some of those that had bought the Pearl from Russia so that I could mold it and offer a free replacement to anyone that wanted to buy the ship in the uk and change it to the Pearl but I got frowned on (and basically got the I have it but your not getting it reples)for possible license breach, not that it mattered to them that they were buying an unlicensed product in the first place(Disney pulled the plug because Zvedsa started to sell before finalising the agreement I am led to believe)afraid its rife in the sci-fi sector especially with brass but people are buying it and because it has a show/ship name its treble the price it should be,anyway I'm ranting off topic back to the Seaview, the brass wasn't to expensive and the interior for the FS 1 is rather smart,I had originally built it as a stand alone model and cut the uper part(got a spare part from Moebeus) so that you could lift off the center section to see the interior just like the larger Aurora kit,I then did this diorama,I will have to buy the interior brass again as I still have the cut parts and the rest of the second FS 1 I bought to close it up for lights,I plan on doing the same with the 35th scale Flying sub I was able to aquire another upper hull from a friend who got a replacement for a broken wing, god I can go on....I really need to get out more...lol stopping now so someone else can make a comment...lol cheers,Gordon
  11. yes it is,I think I put another 8 in the mix,it is the 1/128th scale TV version,I have the Movie version to do but thats after a couple of Star Trek and Star Wars kits, some torpedo boats some figures etc,etc and also a 31" Nautilus which is between 1/69 and 1/72 scale the CMK 1/72nd deep diver figures look good with it,I'm going to convert them to Nemo and crew figures and there are some nice figures in the U-boat range that can work as other crew, but again i digress that is for the future, cheers,Gordon
  12. not by much,I'll need to dig the A out of the loft and take some comparison picks over the weekend, Gordon
  13. Hi Pete so did I,the Squids just woken up and about to attack the diving bell...lol,if you look closely in front of the diver is the ever present Trans Atlantic communications cable, why he needs the metal detector god knows,I can see it clearly...lol,thanks for your comments, much apreciated cheers,Gordon
  14. Hi,thought I would let you see my finished Seaview by Moebius models, took some time to build only working a couple of hours here and there it was nearly 2 years,I have added brassdetails for some of the interior and for the limber holes on the hull along with false pressure hull, fully lit including interior for the flying sub,sea scape is polyfoam scraped and brushed with a good wire brush with some aquarium plants dulled down with matt varnish for effect, tryed to emulate Irwin Allen with his love of garish colours, the manta's are milliput while the sharks and the diver(added breathing gear and metal detoctor)are from the Calypso kit, whole display is 4feet long, hope you like cheers,Gordon
  15. Ok here we go with the pics, the box art is a metalized/pearlesent effect which differs from the production kit which is just flat, same images are used, and of course the all important certificate of issue/authenticity,when subscribing to this initially my friend got a T-shirt which he sent me for the 1701 club, there were three colours, gold, blue and red,I got a blue one and was also lucky enough it was in my size, apparently they just sent them out with no guarante it was going to fit so I'm a lucky chap on both counts,I'm thinking of framing the T-shirt,Certificate and Box top and I will build the Enterprise but need to save up for the light kit and other accessories,it will be a little while yet before I get these so I will start a build post when I get going, its massive and at last we have an accurate model version of the studio miniature,it has bridge detail and hanger bay details which are stunning, choice of windows,in clear(lighting option)white and black and depending on which version different window positions on the neck and hull so you have blanking plates and different parts for the neck, cheers,Gordon
