Is it too late to suggest that a mighty Wurlitzer should be installed as an upgrade for the piano?

Not been much movement on this one, it's been languishing at the bottom of page 4 for several months due to a combination of "Wendy House" work and CBA but I can at last confirm that assembly has been completed and painting has commenced. Vehicles in Tamiya DAK yellow, scene blocked up in a variety of Citadel, Lifecolor and MigAMMO, all brush painted. Should be on course to get it completed by deadline. IanJ

Gentlepersons, If we can talk about toilets for a moment please? It has occurred to me that those toilets have close coupled cisterns and therefore might be not of the right vintage* Should it be a separate cistern mounted higher up the wall, or possibly outside to give the necessary, er, drop? Also - Would there be a sign exhorting the user to not flush while the Air Taxi is stationary on the airfield? Back to the wibble IanJ * Is this rivet counting, boss level?

Incidentally, back in 2001 I became an uncle - Upon ringing my dad to find out further details, it transpired that I had a niece and that she had been named Kasey. Imagine my relief to discover that she'd not got our family name and wouldn't be known as Kasey Jones.... IanJ(ones)

Supermarine Seafire Mk.XV, Ventura Models, 1/72
Bonhoff replied to 2996 Victor's topic in The Salty Sea Dog GB
Wot he said - I used the Ventura Seafire XV as a base for a Spitfire XII, once you get past the apparent crudity of the model on the sprues they do build up rather well. IanJ -
On the final stages of my commute into the suburbs of Nottingham this morning, I overtook what looked like a classic Fiat 500, but with an estate style body. Turns out it's a Fiat 500 "Giardiniera"

Thankfully, The Wombles have been posted already, but no sign of this magnificent tune courtesy of The Darkness... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrVg1toMzuo Would always know that Christmas was on its way, as we'd normally be seeing them play either at Rock City or the O2 Academy in Leicester - But they aren't playing until next year now. Had a go at building a Clubman out of Heller's 1/43 scale offering, but predictably it now sits on my shelf of doom. IanJ

Couple of spots over the last couple of days. Marshalled on a test on LeJog yesterday and among the usual fare of Escorts, BMW 2002s and Volvo Amazons competing was a 1985 Rover 216! Then today, as I headed out of my office in a suburb of Nottingham for lunch, a 1987 Nissan Sunny ZX Coupe. Honestly can't remember the last time I saw any of either. IanJ

TBH - The Citroen seems to be on a new set of wheels and tyres, an episode of "Wheeler Dealers" revealed that you can get a conversion kit to install a Ford Pinto lump so perhaps it's a "Sleeper"? I like it.
