100% GPMG could be door mounted in all RAF Sea Kings (Yellow and Grey). It was one of my jobs to fit the pintle mount and GPMG at RAFSKTU (RNAS Culdrose). We use to take out barrels, drop them in the sea as target practice. They never stood a chance. As far as I am aware, you are correct in that it was a standard UK Sea King fit.

"Desert Storm" Tornado GR.1/IDS Hi-Decal Line - Nr. 72-001 - 1:72 Tornado IDS RSAF Revell - Nr. 04363 - 1:72 Just to clarify the report is wrong ...... it is not a GR.4. It is a Post-TSP IDS. The pod on the fuselage pylon is a Damocles FLIR/Laser Designator pod.

Do you ever lose respect for an author so much that you stop reading a book immediately ...... And I quote "The Red Army had it's own tanks, the T-34s (American designed and probably the best tank of the war)" I can accept the BT series were designed around the J Walter Christie tank, but to claim the T-34 was American is a stretch ....... as they produced the M3 and M4 for their own troops. Who is this author Stephen E Ambrose of Band of Brothers fame. The book Citizen Soldiers: The US Army from Normandy to the Bulge

Can I throw in the Short twins, Stirling (with bomb trolley and tractor) and Sunderland. No doubt someone will point out that there are better Italeri offerings, but the joy of building these two is what the thread is about.
