Edward, This has to be one of the most humorous post I have seen..you and your boys, have topped yourselves....I even had to show the wife this one...thank you for sharing this one... and the quote "COME SEE WHAT YOUR CHILDREN HAVE DONE!"...absolutely one of the most spine chilling quotes one is to ever hear fro their spouse. Take care! Don- 291 replies

Hi Mr.P, If I may suggest for next time. I usually thin the seats down to a more scale appearance. Good luck on the sale of the house..we'll be doing the same next spring. Still staying in the area ..just o none floor somewhere. Take care. Don- 291 replies

Hi Isaneng, I use a series of extremely find polishing clothes..3000-12000. These are readily available from a hobby supplier. Then buff with a very soft cloth until it shines. Then I blow air on it to removal any cloth fibers. All the time I am wearing gloves. Car modelers, which their brilliant paint jobs, may have other ideas. Hope this helps. All the Best! Don

Hello All, Another long term work in progress that has made it to the bench again. This time it is the Revell EA6A Wild Weasel. I started this several years back. It is a bear of a kit. with many hard to fill gaps , especially in the wheel wells. I did my best to fill them with strip plastic..they came out OK. Many of the panel lines at the intakes and underside panel were lost do to poor fit so those were rescribed. I don't worry about mixing raised and scribed lines. In any case hope you enjoy the pictures and as always any comments are greatly appreciated. All the Best! Don

Hello All, I have been working on this Academy B-29 on and off for a couple of years. Finally decided to make a big push on it to get it done. In any case I have not decided on the markings yet...but most likely a WWII machine. It has a gloss coat of Tamiya black as a base and many hours of polishing before putting on the the Vallejo aluminum...which is outstanding. I have a few panels I will be doing in varying shades but the overall came out pretty good I think. In any case I hope you enjoy the pictures. Of course any comments are greatly appreciated. All the Best! Don

Hello All, Please find attached some in-progress pictures of my Airifx P-40 B. It is a good kit, not perfect as we know nothing is, but it is very good. As with all the new Airfix kits I have built, dry fitting and a little trim here are all that is needed usually to get an excellent result. In any case on with the pictures..hope you enjoy them. All the Best! Don

Keith, That is really outstanding. Very well done. I checked mine and I have the same issues on the wings. It's what modelers do right..oh ours will be perfect....not....oh well we'll just deal with it as one does. Thanks for the heads-up and thanks also for posting an exceptional example. All the Best!
