  1. Hi, I've built Mengs A7V in 1:35th scale. It depicts "Schnuck", and it belonged to Abt.2 in Northern France during autumn 1918. the model is painted using Tamiya acrylics, and weathered with Mig and AK products. Hope you enjoy :) Best regards Rune, Norway

  3. Hi, and thanks. No real problems on this one. A rather weak tailwheel strut could potentially be a problem. It's the brace where the tailwheel is fitted, but should be fine if you're careful
  4. Hi! This is Eduard 1/48 P-51D Mustang. It was flown by Irving Snedeker, who belonged to 364th FS, 357 FG, based in the UK, April 1945. The model was painted using Gunze colors. Best regards Rune Haugen Norway
  5. Wingnut Wings Fokker E.II Eindecker. This particular machine was flown by Ernst Udet, and belonged to KeK Habsheim in 1916. The model is painted using Tamiya and Vallejo colors. Best regards Rune, Norway
  6. Revells 1/72 Handley Page Halifax built as S-Sugar of 35. sqn. Shot down during an attack on Tirpitz over Norway. The aircraft force landed on Lake Hoklingen,and the crew survivied. All but one escaped to Sweden. The plane is now resting in Hendon museum. Read more here: http://www.archieraf.co.uk/archie/1048tls.html .   8. Hi, here's my CV9030N as used by the Norwegian Army. The model was painted using Gunze H303. Weathering was applied using MIG-pigments, oil washes and streaking effects.
  9. Thanks guys. The silver is Vallejo Aluminium with Future over. Chrome is straght from the kit, only touched up with a Molotov marker. Gloss finish on the rest was achieved using 2K Diamond finish clear coat.

  12. Hi, here's my Roden Nieuport 28C.1 in the colors worn by Eddie Rickenbackers machine. Not quite Wingnut-standard, but nonetheless enjoyable to build. The only downside were the decals which were brittle and otherwise horrible. Hope you enjoy And the ace himself:
  13. Thanks I colored the windshield using Tamiya Clear Blue thinned a bit with water. I used a brush when I applied it.

Raised panel lines were sanded down. Minimal weathering added, as this was a trip back to child hood. Built this about 30 years ago. Great fun Best regards Rune Norway
  15. Hi! Here's my latest model. It's Trumpeters Wellington in 72nd scale. The model depicts a machine used by 37. Sqn during the Norwegian campaign in April 1940. A lot of aftermarket was used. Eduard photoetch and several Quickboost resin items. The model is finished in Gunze and Tamiya paints. Hope you enjoy. Any comments apppreciated Best regards Rune Norway
  16. Thanks I used Flory Models Dark Dirt wash via airbrush for the exhaust stains. It's easy to wipe away if you apply to much. Best regards Rune
  17. Hi! Here's my latest model. It's the rather old Revell/Monogram Ju 88. A decent kit, but it has some fit issues. I've painted the model with Tamiya and Gunze colors. This particular machine belonged to 1./KG 30, and was flown by Werner Baumbach in Norway 1942. Any comments appeciated Best regards Rune Norway

  20. Hi! Here's my first for 2017. The new Airfix kit was a joy to build. I modified the pilot in the kit to a more natural pose. The prop blur was simulated by brushing pastel on the spinner. The model was painted using Vallejo Air colors. Hope you enjoy. Any comments appreciated Best regards Rune
  21. Hi, the spiral is provided as a decal in the kit, so I used that.
