  4. Thanks Richard, I don`t know but they`re the ones Eduard said to use for the British version on the instructions Cheers Russ
  5. Thanks Rod, I think I got it off Amazon, it`s the top half of a wall art poster Cheers Russ
  6. Thanks Michael, it`s an Eduard injection moulded item, you just need to paint it up yourself, I got a Japanese version too when I bought it. Cheers Russ
  7. Really nice builds and photo`s, great job
  8. Love the scheme you chose Dennis, nice one
  9. Howdy Everyone, Just finished the latest addition to my CBI theme and thought you wouldn`t mind seeing a few photo`s My attempt at a Royal Navy FM-2 Wildcat Built from Eduard`s new 1/48 kit Built 99% from the box contents Only additions being: ignition harness and brake pipes from bits of wire... ....and the decals which came from Techmod Set 48052 `Grumman Wildcat Mk VI` First time I`ve used this brand and they worked beautifully. Kept the weathering light, as apparently, they didn`t actually see any action as the war was over before they got there. Hope you enjoy the pic`s, thanks for looking Cheers Russ
  10. Thanks Malcolm, just the sheer amount of separate parts and inserts, keeping them aligned so the next bit fits. For instance the intakes are built from 3 pieces which you`ve to to get right or the LEX`s won`t fit well, which will throw the leading edge flaps out. The kits great in a lot of ways, all the parts are nice and thin, the leading and trailing edges are sharp, it just doesn`t add up to a smooth build is all. Cheers Russ
  11. Thanks, the paints were my normal combination of Humbrol Enamels, for the tan I used 118 and dry brushed 187 over it, the mid green is dark green 30 with 117 dry brushed over, the dark green is black green 91 with olive drab 155 dry brushed over. The grey is plain light grey 196. Cheers Russ
  12. Really nice Hurricane and great job on weathering the black finish. Not the easiest to do but you pulled it off nicely
  13. Great looking Tank Buster there, really nice work
  14. Howdy All, Took some photo`s of my latest effort yesterday and thought it wouldn`t be fair to keep them all to myself 🙂 My attempt at building a South Vietnamese F-5E from AFV Clubs 1/48 scale kit Apart from some etched seat belts from the stash, the Sidewinders, bombs and decals from the spares box, built from the box contents Cant say this was one of my favourite builds, took a lot of work and filler to get a decent looking result Mainly due to the kit breakdown so they could do multiple versions from the spues. Made Hasegawa`s `Frankenfourty` look like a walk in the park🙂 Was surprised when trying to research on Google etc how little information there was on them, but they weren`t in service very long before the end came Still good to have one in the collection Hope you enjoy the pic`s, thanks for looking Cheers Russ
  15. Great looking Tomcat there Mike, really nice work
