    Roden Decals

Hi everyone, Don`t know if you`re like me and love Rodens subject matter ( Mohawk, Peacemaker, Trojan ) but dread it when it comes to decal time, Well, I just had my best result yet on my third Mohawk build by putting the decals on, over a very glossy surface, with Micro-sol as a setting agent (didn`t bother with Micro-set at all) and as soon as I mopped up the surface and eased the trapped air etc from underneath I hit it with a hair drier on hottest setting whilst being very careful not to melt the plastic. There are one or two areas of silvering but only very small, the large decals like the walkways and `United States Army` on the sides went straight down with no trouble at all and even sank into the panel lines (I`ve had to try to paint round large areas of these before). The very small stencils I just stuck on with Klear/Future. Hope this is of some help to someone who also has trouble with Roden decals. That`s all for now folks, Hope to show the finished kit soon (ish) Good luck with whatever you`re doing, Russ
