  1. Thank you everyone I didnt know about the level of weathering apt for the FW - goes to show how little i know about the intricacies of WW2 Luftwaffe! This is my first serious attempt at a mottle paintjob so obviously much more to learn. Will get a picture up with something to give scale soon
  2. Hi all My first completed build post on BM. Revell JU 88A1 converted to G1 with the AIMS conversion set, and Hasegawa FW 190 A8 converted to an F8. As I am no "experten" in WW2 Luftwaffe, my apologies in advance for any mistakes or shortcomings. C&C are most welcome to help me improve, thank you for looking
  3. 1/72? Incredible. I second, one of the best paintjobs I've ever seen. Top class!
  4. Insane! But a fascinating subject and I look forward to it
  5. Don - you crack me up Gary - thanks for the kind words, much improvement still possible Not Alclad on the 707, but Gunze Super Metallic, my favourite NMF paint. Stu - Re. the A-10, was done as a gift to a friend - its the Trumpeter 1/32 with a resin cockpit (the kit one sucks). Was some years back, only have this one more before I gave it away: Sean - this is whats currently building. Mistel 2 in 1/32 with the AIMS conversion set. Hope I dont fluff it up !
  6. Aneh! We meet again on different shores
  7. Simply superb camo work, very subtle and perfectly blended. As someone else said, if I could get halfway as good as that I'd b happy!
  8. Really nice that - very neat and the NMF looks excellent!
  9. That came out quite well! 1/25th? Quite interesting scale for AFV's If you dont mind me saying, the tracks near the front sprocket could do with more sag, and is that daylight visible through the grilles? These are kit faults, not yours of course.
  10. Nothing to be embarassed, I think its a good effort! Having built two of these, Id agree with you on the kit - especially the underwing centre section
  11. Lovely, what a nice subject and you have done them justice!
  12. Muchas gracias fellas This is extent of the mods: Interior was detailed on a best guess, no refs I could find The pigeons were from Hauler - they are 1/35th but the difference is negligible. I kept thinking of the series all the time I was building it!
  13. Thats amazing!! A super job!
  14. Hi all This is my rendition of an Australian SAS Series 2a Land Rover circa 70s, modified from the Tamiya kit. All mods were scratchbuilt or from the spares box. Markings are ficititious, I have no references on them whatsover. The "8" is also upside down , fixed since the pic was taken. C&C welcome
