  1. Thanks for posting. I'm really looking forward to this model. Any word on when it will be available? Last fall I thought they said end of year or early 2024. No word about it in their last newsletter. I hope CMK make some crew figures.
  2. I wish Sword would follow Eduard and release a poster of this box art.
  3. Phas3e, Great work. Love the paint job.
  4. Patrick, Nice build and great subject. My father was a Misty whose "story" can be found in Bury us Upside Down (great book). From everything my father told me, the Hun was quite the plane.
  5. Finally. I am really looking forward to this kit.
  6. Dora Wings, Thank you. Please include floats. I hope you continue 1/72 civil aviation subjects. Mike
  7. Hello all, I am currently building Special Hobby's 1/72 Kittyhawk Iain the marking of GA-Y from No. 112 Sqn., Libya 1942. The box top art shows the aircraft with yellow on its leading edges; however, the instructions do not show yellow. Searching the web, I have found a port view of the aircraft; however, the shadow on the under wing obscures where there would be a paint demarcation. On the below wikipedia page, there is a color photo of a plane from this squadron taxing and it definitely has yellow leading edges. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._112_Squadron_RAF Can anyone help me out? Yellow leading edges or not? Thanks in advance Mike K Oregon, USA
  8. Faud, This is really nice. Great job. I'm interested in how you weathered the upper surfaces. Did you take any in progress shots? cn you post a close up? Thanks Mike
  9. Hello all, I'm building Hasegawa's 1/72 Jaguar Gr 1, using the Pavla ejection seat and Kits-World Operation Granby decals. I don't do many jets so references are sparse. The kits contains BL 755 Cluster bomb and Matra LR 155 rocket pod and I have some extra Sidewinder I want to put on the over-wing rails. Unfortunately the kit doesn't include a drop tank. Can anyone tell me if these are correct for the Gulf War? Thanks in advance Mike
  10. Troy and Mike, Thanks so much for the information. Mike
  11. Hello all, I am planning to build Hasegawa's 1/72 Lancaster Mk I with Grand Slam, markings option "2" No. 15 Sq. 1945, the plane is PD127 with code LS + S. I do not have any reference material on Lancasters and have a few questions if you can help. First, the instructions and box show the small side windows painted over. Is this true and if so, were they just painted or completely removed? The box shows a the fuselage with no indications the windows were ever there, so that tells me I would have to putty them over rather than just paint. Second, the instructions show the camouflage as Green FS34102, (70%) Dark Earth/ (30%) Tan over Ocean Grey undersurfaces. What are the correct colors for this squadron and what are the actual common names for these colors, I would like to get them from the White Ensign Color series. Thanks in advance for any help, Mike Kippenhan USA
