Ok people a while ago I got this kit and wanted to build it not black as the manbual says but in a camo, it was in my head since I saw a topic here a 1/72 scale in an operational camo so I wanted to do it. From the advices I got here, from the PAK-FA manual of Revell etc I first tried a quick photoshopping to see how it would look and It didn't seem bad so I decided to go for it, not exactly as the photo but still not bad. I'm still not decided if I should add missiles too also but I'll figure it out sometime, here we go: Thanks for looking Regards

Iranian Qaher F-313 Stealth Fighter Jet Prototype/Mock up?
seth2012chaos replied to Dazzio's topic in Aircraft Modern
It definitely is fake, and they can't even fake it right -
I noticed marks under the fuselage of the kit that seem like weapon bay doors maybe they were intended to be so in the kit but guess it's a bit late for cutting them and adding arms, I eliminated wing tips already as they are a bit curved so not very suitable to add arms. So now my only choice is under the wings. But ou got me doubting about adding them with the stealth thing. Pylons or not... that's a tough one

Hello again people, A while ago I asked for color advices for Revell's 1/144 Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut to paint it in an assumed operational camo here http://www.britmodeller.net/forums/index.php?/topic/234935325-berkut-color-advice/ and using an advice from niki and Revell's PAK-FA kit manual for colors and camo I built my aircraft but before it is ready for inspection I have one more question for you guys if you can give me ideas. I have some spare missiles, fuel tanks etc from previous 1/144 builds but mostly American stuff. As I tried to build it in an assumed operational camo I thought arming it could be good too so shall go for it and use the spare stuff to arm the aircraft or not? And where on the bird and how many of them shall I use? I saw in wiki that it was planned to have two on wingtips, 6-8 under the wings and 4-6 under the body so what are your suggestions? Thanks

1/35 Academy AAI Corporation RQ-7B UAV
seth2012chaos replied to AndyC's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Good looking UAV, not the kind of a build I could see often, now I'm glad the site was down so could see this build -
Thanks for the advice I like the camo on the Su-35, I saw a few dark blue examples but thought of a camo was more tempting Well so I completed the build apart from the landing gear and awaits the paint so I took a couple of mins and tried a camo on a photo of the plane using the Su-35 photo of yours and the PAK-FA camo. It didn't look bad to me maybe I'll go for it. Here it is: I use Revell acrylics but will look for that tone probably they have it too

F-16C 65th Anniversary - 1/144 Revell
seth2012chaos replied to seth2012chaos's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
That may explain why I like 1/144 as I am in the Asian part of Turkey Haven't heard Project144 I'll check it hoping it's in English My kit had one issue, there was a gap between fuselage and the air intake but nothing a filler wouldn't solve. -

F-16C 65th Anniversary - 1/144 Revell
seth2012chaos replied to seth2012chaos's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I bought one kit from ebay, the Revell's 1/720 U.S.S. Enterprise, for me the prices is not the problem for sites like ebay, it is the shipping cost. Generally shipping costs to Turkey can be double of the kit's cost. but I still check ebay time to time. Never checked Hannats don't know if they even ship to Turkey but I'll check it. There was some Japanese show or whatever it is I saw the videos of over the net, something called like Puramo Tsukurou or so, never seen them building a 1/144 scale jet only A380 so I don't know if it's their thing at all I got two big scales I have my eyes on though, Revell's 1/32 Heinkel He-111 and 1/350 Bismarck. Especially I'll build Bismarck sometime this year or when it's in stock. -
Hello people, Well I enjoy building 1/144 models and my next victim will be Revell's Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut. Sometime ago I saw this build here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234911238-sukhoi-su-47-berkut/?hl=berkut by mitchem and I really liked the "what if..." and since then I had a thought of painting mine not black but in a camo pattern in a cormer of my mind. I use Revell acrylics to paint my models so for a camo(tones of blue, brown, gray or else) what colors would you suggest me to use or should I go with black instead? In checked some Rusian jet camo patterns here http://wp.scn.ru/en and also downloaded Revell's PAK-FA manual for color references but I wanted to ask you guys here too.

F-16C 65th Anniversary - 1/144 Revell
seth2012chaos replied to seth2012chaos's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Painting whites is a good solution too but for small scales could need some steady hand if you brush paint as I do I saw a few people masking and painting the scheme of Solo Türk I thought of doing that too but I don't know if I can manage that especially the numbers and letters would be tricky, or maybe can use decals only for them, a 1/144 kit for suck scheme will need a lot of work and patience I guess but I'll try it. I looked for Dragon's 1/144 SR-71 kit but they didn't have it in stock and as I check the site I online store I buy from when local ones lack, I see only two kits in stock from Dragon so no luck for me about that Revell is the easiest to find here as there are several distributors. I am glad too to see someone who enjoys 1/144 kits, not many of us around I guess -
Great looking build and I bow with respect to your patience for the rigging.

No worries sir I do get take it the right way. At first I was really not caring about those and not caring about detail, equipment etc. but I am being careful about them too as much as I can as I improve. Still I don't know if I can spend weeks or months on one kit though, maybe I'll gain the patience in time I try to learn as much as I can here in the forum. In my first buil I remember I just ripped off the parts from the sprues now I have the basic tools you count though I still don't have an airbrush but plan to get one soon. Oh and I do need a panel scribing tool I guess. But I know and have the basic tools needed now but any advice you give is welcome if there's anything extra I'll need.

Great looking plane and really good job for brush painting using Revell enamels, when I paint with em the result is worse than a wreck. -
Beautiful looking bird, great work in the camo and cockpit.

seth2012chaos replied to seth2012chaos's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thanks I'm glad the "saving" worked cause it was either gonna screw it even more or make it better. Hmm never thought of black paint, if I repeat the mistake I can try it just to see the result -
F-16C 65th Anniversary - 1/144 Revell
seth2012chaos replied to seth2012chaos's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I plan on printing my own decals, I'll change my printer first with one tht prints whites too cause I don't want to cut off every single edge using a white decal paper. Then I plan to build a Solo Türk version of F-16 Thank you, I plan to concentrate on small scales actually, they both don't take too much space which I am starting to lack and I like Revell's 1/144 kits. -
I agree, I keep practising and trying new things sometimes I mess things up but I enjoy it Aftermarket stuff can be found in one online store in Turkey mostly and they are generally not for 1/144 kits I mostly build, although I hate to shop online (bad experiences) I rarely use it, had to buy SR-71 online. But aftermarket stuff no luck so far. I haven't seen the Revell 1/144 Phantom kit. I found Academy kits at the online store I mentioned but they are out of stock I'm waiting for new shipments then I'll buy that one and see if it's good.
