No 10 yr old made this, where is the broken off propellor blade and the gluey thumbprint on the canopy or was that just me? This looks great, well done.

Humbrol posted a How To Use video on Youtube which is quite useful to watch. Might have to get some and see what it's like for myself.

You really know how to put a Spitfire together, don't you?
-
Love what you did with the aerials, how did you do them? Also, if a model has a story to it so much the better. Great work.
-
Very nice, well done. I have this Seafire, too. Looking forward to putting it together.

The Mossie has been one of my favourite planes since I was a boy. I saw this version in a book yesterday and was thinking it would make a great model and here you are making one. That must be a sign.

Very nice, I have one of these and I just can't decide how to do it, all options look great.

Looks really nice. I have one of these which I must get going on. Well done.

Some undercoat on

Playing around with the exhausts. Painted silver then washes of rust and black added and dry brushed with more black and silver afterwards.

Thought I might have a go at some pre-shading this time so here is some grey for the white underwing. Meanwhile, because of the delays to this one and to take advantage of the fact that the missus is stuck in hospital for a couple of days there was only one thing to do. This...

Ok, so as promised progress has been slow, largely interrupted by this new addition to the stash

This is a Mk II version, distinguisable from the Mk I by its larger size and darker markings.

Nicely done, I remember building this kit as a child. I was always a sucker for anything with a shark's mouth.
-
Looking really good, I love the black/white colour scheme, it's totally mental, well done.

NIce work, it's coming along well. What are your plans for the pitot tube?
-
Cheers Chris. I have finally managed to get a first undercoat on it today so things are moving along. Will try and get a bit more done and post some pics soon.
-
Don't watch too closely, this one is going to be slow, I think.

Be my guest re. harness. I also have a couple of photos that I took of the Cosford Mk I which I used as reference for the interior colours, also the ring and bead gun sight. I can post them if you like.

Are we now so afraid of swastikas that we can't even mention them?
